Whether we like it or not, we are beholden to the normalfags of the world. Normalfags wreck everything on the periphery. Whatever they want, we also have to deal with. We're just along for the ride. When it comes to vidya, normalfags are an especial cancer that must be purged as they allow demands to thrive that otherwise should have died out. Let's list all the ways that normalfags wreck vidya for the rest of us.
- Game has hardcoded, non-mappable controls? Normalfags don't care. They'll deal with the arbitrary controls no matter how shitty they are, thus giving too many developers no incentive to put in a few extra days to build a simple kay/button config screen.
- Console ports, anyone? Normal fags don't give a fuck. They'll play anything ported to PC.
- GaaS… all normalfaggots. They will be the eventual death of gaming as we know it. They don't care about owning their own games. They don't care about a little input latency. They don't care if they can only play their game while connected to the internet.
