I recently replayed it and beat it with my first mon and then maxed its stats.

There's an equally astonishing amount of videos showing fun glitches and bugs (infinite evolution glitch to gain 99 days lifespan, Sukamon entering Monzaemon suit, bit glitching, item duping, instant care mistake farming, etc.)
Also they figured out the animation format used in the game not too long ago. This means one day we may finally see WereGarurumon and Kaminarimon modded in. Supposedly using models from DW2.

I never got into virtual pets when I was younger, but I did play Digimon World.
Favorite Digimon would Palmon, Tentomon, Dorugoramon who I think is a slightly better form then alphamon, but I also prefer more monster like designs then human like, and Lilithmon. Because when I played cyber sleuth I ended using her and she had the power knock out bosses in one hit, normal mode hard mode doesn't matter they all died with little to no effort, I wasn't a fan of her at first all I just saw waifu bait until I got a hold of her destructive power. now she's my favorite and I try to get one whenever I can.
I've gotten more interested in the old Virtual Pet stuff Digimon had, do they have anything that doesn't cost to much?

Digimon adventure will always have a special place in my heart for introducing me to this franchise, and releasing me from my everything that isn't Pokemon is bad or ripoff shackles. But Tamers was the best, I love final episode with how dark it got and it was a vary interesting experience, it's a bit of a slow burner but the wait is defiantly worth it in the end.

I think making it more of a pet sim would work well.
You have your own home where you raise digimon and then some public areas you can take them to play or battle others depending on your digimon's level. Make it sort of like the later World games but either don't give digimon expiration dates or make it optional to reset a digimon.

Depends on the game, some advance text based on you, some have voiced lines and don't want them cut off, some let you cut them off anyway because it's convenient for the player. It also depends on if it's in-game or pre-rendered, or if there's a specific "cutscene mode" that I'm not sure if it's any different depending on the game. I'm sure there's been times in games when characters talk over things in other genres, fucking modern Sonic does it, and there's subtitles to boot. If the audio mixing is less than stellar like the Sonic Adventure games or the first Devil May Cry, you might have to read the subtitles even if it is in English. if they wanted to really force Adventure to continue, they could pull some lazy bullshit like the villain de-ages the kids and throws them into the digital world. optionally, weaken the partner digimon and give characters amnesia. boom, instant sequel. the tri villain is also a manchild, so it fits.

That isn't the reason the Crisis on Infinite Earths was done. In the few times something like that happened, it was a side effect. What characters were brought back to life? Ma and Pa Kent? I don't think anyone cared.
The real reason it was done was to combine the universes so that everything was canon together, so that way when people picked up new stuff, they wouldn't be disappointed to find out that the stuff that got them interested wasn't even canon to this universe. This is a huge problem in Digimon, which loses a huge amount of investment from its audience each time it reboots, which is practically every entry. It takes a top tier autist to appreciate the multiverse. Just put it all together. Also, stop making shit like Tri. Tri has shown that if it's shitty, it doesn't matter what universe it's in.

I recall there was a Sega Saturn version of the V-pet too. I vaguely recall either Ver. S or Ver. W actually being able to connect with some early versions of the V-pet, although I doubt anyone has emulated any of the actual V-pets. That having been said, now that I think of it, if those games did connect to the V-pets, would it be theoretically possible to reverse engineer some information from that? At the very least it would have some valuable information on battling.
