>That plus coupled with the fact they went full SJW cucks after fags complained about not having enough injuns in the game
Weren't the Indians a joke races?
I mean they were almost entirely useless and easy to counter, with the Iroquois being the only threat, who at high levels could field cheap 1-pop ranged infantry with over a thousand HP
Seriously 1 nation is ALL cavalry and the other is ALL Infantry, and they were probably the most shallowest nations in the game
>AoE 3 would have been fine but it's too shallow a game and not enough content.
to be fair, Aoe is a shallow franchise with not much content, most factions share most units with only slightly different bonuses to give them a bit of difference.
Most people disliked AoE because at high levels almost all the factions could produce endless resources, which isn't actually a bad thing in itself, but rather goes against the theme of most AOE games requiring you to maximize resource investment due to limited resources unless you get the relic or play a team game with trade, then you also have effectively endless resources
The most hated part of AoE 3 was the shipment system, which was sort of new and innovative, something the industry kind of fucking needs, albeit this meant that low level players had a disadvantage as well as some shipments being game changing.
My biggest problem with AoE3 was that the pop system was too different. It effectively made some units useless despite how good they were do to not being 3 times stronger than low pop units.
Also probably the bigest problem with aoe3 was the AI, it was dumb as bricks
