Average male has about 1.5 gallons of blood. This is about 350 in^3, which translates to filling a square area about 3 feet on a side a quarter-inch deep, which is probably about as deep as it needs to be in order to still flow because blood is pretty thick. It's not going to spread as readily as water. So imagine a milk jug and a half filled with chocolate syrup. Enough to make a pretty goddamn horrible mess of whatever half of the kitchen you drop it in, but it's not going to spread out enough to also fill your living room and dining room.
So the reality is that it's probably barely enough to fill that initial square section he's lying on; and that's assuming you first drain all his blood and then pour it onto the space. In reality, people don't "bleed out" totally, because as blood volume lowers so does blood pressure which slows the flow, and of course when they die the heart stops and then blood doesn't come out at all anymore, but pools inside the vessels and organs. And death happens when you only lose a quarter or so of the total. A human is not a balloon filled with blood. So when you see a crime-scene chalk outline with a blood smear maybe a foot across about the chest where the guy was shot, that's what you'd realistically get.

I have to assume that little-kid me would have fapped to those death screams if I'd ever played it.
