I don't want anybody to censor shit, but every translated text is going to be rearranged and rewritten a lot if you actually want something that sounds coherent in your target language, even if it's a 'close' translation. That's doubly true for languages from completely different language families, like English and Japanese.

And don't get me started on jokes, puns and cultural references, which are often non-translatable and must be either replaced by something that evokes a similar feeling or omitted completely.

I am myself working as a translator between two completely different languages, and I'll tell you that the finalized translation always looks quite different from the source text, unless it's something really simple.

If you want to get everything without sacrificing any meaning — don't read a translation, period. It's always been that way.
