I know that E3 tried to "get serious" a few years ago, but #gamers were mad because the culture around the event had already been established. I don't really know if we'd be better off with that or what we have now, but damn if I just wish that these giant company show cases of products would stop. At this point, it's aimed at showing investors that there is content worth giving them money for, regardless of if they deliver on the product put on display or not. I don't know why I wasted my time typing this out in a meme thread, I feel as dumb as I look.
