I swear to god if this is simply "moves faster" "jumps higher" I'm going to be pissed. One of the best parts about rain world is stumbling upon a new movement ability completely by accident and playing the game differently as a result.

It's hard to explain. It plays like a metroidvania without upgrades and the focus isn't on combat. It's a survival exploration game with a 2deep4u plot told through envrionmental storytelling.

I like how you can see the eyes shifting around looking at the lizard and then at the vulture, following him as he grabs the lizard.

It's like he's saying "dude, stay where you are, trust me. Welp, I warned you. Yep, that''s a fart vulture. Oh well."

It's a simple animation, but it's details like this that set devs aside from generic indie trash. I'll definitely give it a go.

From what I can tell by the four seconds of gameplay shown in the webms, it looks like a cross between Oddworld Abe's Odyssey, and Limbo/Inside.

I tried playing this game and controls are absolute fucking asscancer. On top of that it's way too zoomed out; I can barely even see the moths and the throwable things on the floor. Got eaten several times by a green lizard and deleted it.

I liked the citadel, but i'm fucking sick of the sky levels. The game doesnt do precise platforming too well i think, but on a revisit of the areas it wasnt so bad
