I don't really agree, the class design and low TTK is such that the additions each operators offer are more supplementary to a basic archetype most operators share (sans exceptions like some anchors and shield operators), so in a straight gun fight there is not much in the way of operators being able to counter you with their gun the same way you'd experience in a hero shooter. If you've got good accuracy, then you can kill any operator in no time regardless of what operator you picked, especially considering headshots are insta-kills.
In fact, the low TTK means you aren't as anchored by your shit team, a good player doesn't have as much trouble carrying a shit team in solo queue as opposed to an ASSFAGGOTS. Because Siege map design doesn't revolve around chokepoints but instead is very open with several routes to navigate around the map, with some good game sense and communication you can easily kill enemies by flanking them when they're unaware.
