They have no competent internal staff and have no meaningful future. They'll produce a few more games under contract from other IP holders and maybe tap into the Eye IP to produce a massively disappointing sequel. 40% of the discussion is about the lore/story and peoples interpretation of what happens before, during, and after the events of E.Y.E
another 40% is how bullshit broken the game is and about 20% is the meme's and funny pictures.

The only reason it was released to "meh" reviews is publisher pushing it out the door before it was fully done. Enhanced edition is actually a really solid terminator simulator for what it's worth.
But otherwise I'm not entirely sure what streumon are gonna do now. EYE was a long-lasting passion project and they seem to not be interested in "normal" games as it stands.
They made more than enough from both games and just kinda exist now.

What I think he is trying to convey is that they are a "meme", pretty much meaning they are reputable by many, but are actually overrated. Deathwing Space Hulk is a game that was designed by playing by the rules and settings means they limit themselves, while on EYE they went crazy while giving you gameplay and freedom to play however you want without constantly letting you move in a slow-as-molasses Terminator armor that's like fucking paper against Genestealing mulattos, playing with weapons that either limit your gameplay to fucking running out of ammo, doesn't help that there's non-existent story with a GW writer that was also shilled as a selling point to the game, and there's the terrible launch, they might have done good with Source for EYE, but dear god the game was an unoptimized mess.

That's something that's regularly mentioned, even in most reviews of the game. People don't bother mentioning it anymore because that's been discussed to death along with most other things in the game.

I hadn't heard this before. That's surprising since I know they had made a pretty in-depth HL1 mod and I expected that they would have the experience or knowledge to make EYE, which was essentially a huge HL2/Source mod.
