So a few months back, I transcribed this shitty game because I thought it would be funny if the entire thing was voice acted. My original intent was to one-up the author by taking this project seriously and find VAs that accurately match the characters, but after some discussion, I realized that this would both be extremely difficult logistically and would not capture the spirit of /v/. Therefore, I'm reducing the scope of the search to anons, regardless of sex. I've held off on this thread for a while because I was concerned about fatigue from the threads, but I feel like this might be a long project.
About voice acting…
The main story will need about fourteen dedicated VAs and some extras. The transcript itself is about eight hundred pages, so if you're interested, you need to be fairly dedicated. I'm open to anyone voicing, though the femanons if there are even any are expected to post tits with timestamp. While this will end up being silly, I don't want it to be annoyingly silly, so there aren't going to be any intolerable accents of funny speech. A spot has been reserved for you, Mark. I don't have anything to say about that. I know absolutely jackshit about audio mixing and RPG Maker, so it doesn't do any good asking me. Questions about audio quality, format, and other things will have to be saved for later when there's someone who can answer them. Right now, all I'm looking for is auditions, which can be done through Vocaroo. I also know communication is going to be difficult, so we need to come up with a solution for that.

I don't want to impose myself since TNA is more of a project manager, but as I am the most familiar with the characters or at least the context, I will say that Worms needs more emotion. The third line is the best, because that's when she's talking to Chantal and is almost psychotic, but line 1 needs to be more distraught and line 2 more embarrassed and shocked. Worms is a soprano, but it's fine if you can't do that. The thing she does need, however, is an accent, so just make up some bullshit. For some retarded reason, the people from the Red Light District have an accent, though I have no idea how that would sound. Experiment with it a little.

You rush through these. I know you don't have any given direction on the how for these parts, but no matter how good or fitting your voice, it'll come out like shit if you don't apply some direction at all. Take it a little slower. Read the line in advance and pick a word or syllable to emphasise. Pick the ones you think are the most important in that passage.
For example, with line 3 part 1, consider slowing down a smidge at the words 'idealist', 'enough', 'boyfriend' and 'disgusted'. I'd call those the key words in that passage that expose Aubrey's thoughts. Pick those to make us feel what she's feeling

This is one of my favourite parts in the Aubrey Uncommon Time, and I always read it as a creepy part. Like he's salivating slowly at the thought, but that thought is disturbing, since Aubrey knows others would be disgusted by the idea; he's basically convincing himself of suicide. Your take makes it sound too casual, though. Make me feel that our colony is in a bad way here

This is such a terrible idea. If it ever even gets off the ground the voice acting is going to be as bad as dubbed animu. If people want to do /v/ project shit again then another song is likely a better idea. Way less time and effort and the end result will just be something nice and funny (even if it’s a bit stupid) rather than something that’ll cause listeners to cringe out of existence.
