Choices actually matter in Mass Effect 3 even if it doesn't directly effect the ending.

You can decide on the fate of the Krogan and determine if the Quarians, the Geth, and the Rachni will go extinct. Just because your choices don't effect the choices you get at the end doesn't mean that you can't make extremely impactful choices for the galaxy.

Is it even possible to make a COYA story game where choices actually matter?

What's the fucking point if nothing you do in the end of the game matters? For all the shit (rightfully so despite liking it) I give Mass Effect 2 the choices ultimately matter at the end with you either making it with everyone alive , half or most of everyone alive and finally everyone including Shepard himself fucking dead. ME3 is a fucking joke.

Yeah, if "things have no real impact" counts as choices that matter then it's pretty hard to find a game where your choices don't matter.

whats the point of playing a game if its going to end?

0362bd  No.16007349

I highly recommend killing the Krogan because of that one scene where the trandfag sounding Krogan leader kicks our Krogan buddy to beat him in a "duel". They deserve to be wiped out after that pathetic fucking display.

0362bd  No.16007366

>>16007349

Someone post that webm. The leader of the Krogan, a supposed aggressive warrior race, sounding like an effeminate faggot makes me want to genocide them.

>it had IMPLIED importance, dude, they don't actually have to acknowledge it happened!

ME3 was a downgrade from even bog standard dogshit false "choices", because at least that low-effort shit would have a fucking slideshow of screencaps and maybe even a line of text or dialogue about how you affected some outcome at the end.

>>16007366

>>16007349

That was a strong, independent female Krogan, shitlord. There's no place to hoard and protect our precious few breeders in this brave new galaxy of progress.
