Normalfag-tier thread incoming. Title says it all: is the PS4 Pro worth it or should I just get a regular/slim?

I don't own a 4K TV, only a 1920x1080p monitor - the VG248QE. Poorfag so upgrading to anything else is completely out of the question. I do plan on eventually buying a substantial number of PS4 games however, so is the difference in processing power and GRAFIX worth it? Or would I not really notice it?

Also no, it's not, spend an extra 200 bucks on a midrange rig. The 4k is a weird fake 4k, and performance is still shit.

Mhw on a ps4 pro, for example runs at 40fps on the framerate setting.

I can get 1440p 60fps steady on all high with a 1060ti

No, it's not worth it. Just get a regular. Processing power doesn't matter, the games are made with the lower end in mind, Pro just turns out some extra stuff. It's not as if the games run like shit on the slim.

No. 4K is the only reason you would buy a Pro over the regular model, otherwise graphical differences are negligible. Just get a 1 TB slim either used or in a bundle when it's on sale. Enjoy your Yakuzastation.
