what you really need to look at whos really working on these games

almost nobody from original Mass Effect and Dragon Age teams is left there anymore, besides few leads

original Mass Effect team moved to working on Anthem after 3

while the DLC team were split after and were given Andromeda

DLC team failed to make good enough product for EA thus they were absorbed into EA Motive

You can spot directly how lower budget and less time and unnecessary changes like Jack Wall being replaced destroyed Mass Effect 3

You can also see how DLC team struggled to build any new gameplay mechanics with Frostbite, they spend 5 FUCKING YEARS trying to get procedural stuff to works and cut it after with too little time left to create good plot and the world

Meanwhile original Mass Effect team did good enough job on Dragon Age Inquisition with the same engine, it still faltered but it had "quality" content and places

So Austin team moved on to Anthem

Montreal team got absorbed into EA Motive

Meanwhile all other team were let go or absorbed as well

so all thats left is Austin and HQ, there is no team working on Dragon Age, they need to finish Anthem first because they no longer have backup teams

The first one was excellent hard sci fi meets Lovecraft. The second was almost a solid improvement, but they gave in to the shitters who couldnt drive the Mako and found the maps to drive it on hard. Just needed easier to read maps.
