I'd say the comics and other materials help out a lot. Stuff like comics can add in a lot of life to a character. Just look at SW and Bobba Fett. If you go by just the original trilogy, he had next to nothing as far as character and personality. However, he looked cool and then he got expanded upon in other materials and then that got expanded.

I play Azur Lane and this, they are very different games. It's way easier to obtain new rare units in AL, while in FGO it feels like a new unit is a small event for you.
The gameplay is very different, I feel like I have more input in FGO than AL even tho in that game you can actually control etc while this is a turn-based thing.
I skip the story in Azur Lane so I can't comment on that. But petting the ships is very cute so they have the advantage if you don't already know about Fate series.

The entire momentum of the movie just sort of stops dead in the second half, after saving Illya. There's just an entire hour where not much physically happens. It's pretty clear they wanted to leave all of the action bits to the last movie. It's not really a detriment per se, as expanding upon character motivations and feelings is good and all, but there's enough padding to show they could have made it into 2 movies instead of 3 if they cut some of it off.

She's a limited 5 star but she gets a few rate ups so it's not terribly bad. She is still one of the best ST sabers in the game but that's mostly due to NP spam-ability and rarity of ST sabers out there. She is considered overshadowed by Musashi but honestly the difference is still a matter of taste and personal preference than what is objectively better imo.

Archer Nobu is among the top Saber killer in the game, especially if said Saber is divine.
Zerker Nobu is a solid Zerker who, again, fucks up divine characters.
The problem is that if the enemy isn't divine then there are tons of better options. Archer Nobu in particular has just been completely powercreeped due to her subpar skill set which, while good enough when she was released, isn't now. And Herk is generally just better than Berserker Nobu.
Also a 5* Nobu would encourage more art, at least during the month she'd get released.

She wears girly secondhand clothes from Tohsaka without complaint. She doesn't use boku or ore to refer to herself (unlike Mordred), she uses watashi which is neutral/feminine. She doesn't actively enjoy exercising/fighting/training she views it as an ends to a means to become the perfect king. She loves cute things and doesn't hide it at all. Artoria for all intents and purposes should be a tomboy due to how she was raised but isn't. You would think she would be, but she isn't, and has never acted as such.
However, in the end, it all makes sense because Artoria isn't a tomboy, she never takes active pleasure in being in the masculine role, she just had a thrust upon her and her moral principles demand she complies even though she'd prefer to be just a normal girl. It makes sense that she isn't a tomboy, in fact, I'd say it makes her a more interesting character. I think Gen Urobochi said it best, "Because of that mental image, Saber's relationship with Shirou doesn't seem like a realistic relationship between a male and a female, but a complicated relationship with a boy who became a girl." Artoria naturally falls into the feminine role in F/SN with little to no resistance.

This is what really annoys me about Septem amongst other things. Nero in Extra states that she tried to do her best for the plebes, and while she was beloved by them, they eventually turned on her because she fucked up a lot and, aside from the nobility being dead set against her and scheming her fall, because the masses couldn't understand her love for the people. Septem treats her as if she had been a 10/10 emperor without a fault, which contradicts what she said about her rule.
That said, I'm very interested in how Nasu handles Nero Rider (if he ever does at all, but it doesn't sound far fetched to me). It's supposed to be the form that Nero really doesn't want to appear in, vehemently choosing to manifest as pretty much any other class that isn't Rider. Nero has stated time and again (in Extra at least, I haven't checked CCC nor Extella) that she did, in fact, fuck up in many situations while she was alive, but she'd rather accept those things and move on. Rider Nero is supposed to encompass all of the things about herself that she wants to move away from, and is likely to manifest as The Beast from biblical scriptures. If Septem had any modicum of quality, they would have taken the opportunity to explore Nero Rider as an enemy instead of whatever we got + Altera out of nowhere at the very last moment.

In very mild defense the singularity was in 60 AD, only 4 years into her reign, 1 year after killing her mother, Nero didn't start seriously fucking up until about 62 when one of her best advisers died.

The Arthurian legend originally didn't deal with them being knights hell Lancelot cuckoldry wasn't even a thing until the frenchies got their hands on it so them being in armor should be them being affected by what people perceive of the legends of King Arthur than the actual goings on, but sadly that was too much for Nasu so he made them have that armor in the flashbacks too.

If you care about gameplay you can 3 turn nearly everything with f2p servants + good supports so all you'd get out of king hassan is a really cool NP and some solo memes both of which can be done by adding someone onto your friends list and never having to spend a penny of your own. If you're in need of assassins there are other decent options out there.

Of course they're going to try for a sequel eventually and fail miserably like with arcade but unless they are grossly incompetent then all of the people putting their money and time into the current game will probably have some way of carrying parts of their stuff over. FGO will continue on mobile if DW likes making money so the logical step would be a new FGO on mobile and bringing all of their current users over to that as painlessly as possible.
All of this is banking on the idea that they aren't going to go full retard though so you never know.

Let's discuss Arcade while we can and while it is still somewhat relevant.
What went wrong? Here's my input:
>Still have to farm materials and shit
>Apparently there will be events later from which you can get lores since everyone's skills are, at the highest, 9/9/9
>No apparent skill ceiling, just run around in circles until someone falls for the bait of hitting you and when they miss you attack them
>half of the skills are useless since they don't carry over well in PvP
>NP is too easy to spam, can just use Arts cards over and over to get the +20 NP
>summon tickets too frequent, you can get most of if not all the servants you want with ease (This can be construed as a good thing for some, bad for others)
>Doesn't seem to stray from the FGO storyline, isn't being original except with certain small aspects which aren't monumental at all
>Like most ASSFAGGOTS, each PvP match's outcome depends entirely on whether or not your teammates are competent, you cannot carry them alone
>NPs might as well be instant kill since they do so much damage you'd have to be at full health + buffed + the enemy debuffed in order to survive an NP
>oh, almost forgot
IT'S ARCADE ONLY AND COSTS MONEY EVERY TIME YOU WANT TO PLAY
On the bright side, it did some things right

We can go on and on about "what ifs" forever but I just want to say it could have been so much more. The idea about being assigned a (1) servant at the beginning of when you play is brilliant because it makes you think that the game will only give you that one you are left up to chance to receive and it will be up to you to work around that servant to make it work, also allowing you to get to know it and the in's and out's, increasing your mental bond and making you appreciate them more.
At least that way, it would feel more like a Holy Grail War rather than some weird Apocrypha-type thingamabob. One caveat is that, to make this truly work, they'd have to overhaul some of the servants skill-wise as well as add a fuckton more starting servants. I'd imagine you'd be quite shattered if you were stuck with Georgios or Phantom D'opera as your one and only servant.
Anyways, I know it's not gonna happen, but it's something I just wish could have been the case, like a full and complete Spore.

The arcade game is pretty bizarre but with their mounds of cash I'm assuming they were attempting to break into another market which might've captured some interest in asia where arcade is still popular. What pisses me off is that all of those 3d models look fucking gorgeous and clearly they've put a lot of work into them but mobile, which will ALWAYS remain the most popular has many of their servants neglected.
Hopefully for the mobile sequel of FGO we'll see a properly optimized game with 3d models as well but this whole arcade thing has you wondering if DW has any clue what they're doing with their cash cow

I don't see it being that hard if you take a support Raikou/Jalter or if you have a decent berserker, saber, or avenger of your own you can use that. Since it's separated into waves as long as you have healing you just have keep your HP topped off as none of the fights are too hard individually.
