Might get around to replaying this at some point in the near future, haven't done a full playthrough with TSLCRM as dark side yet. Want to try to minmax the shit out of it (because it's fun).
I've never played a stealth build, how fun are they? Always seemed like the weakest/slowest with no AoE or quick combat initiation.
The prestige class would obviously be Sith Assassin, but what should I start as? Sentinel might be the best choice for the OP immunities but Guardian has access to the Weapon Specialization feat without needing to go Marauder/Weapon Master, their alignment mastery is also a lot better giving 1-8 slashing bonus as Guardian compared to +3 dex from Sentinel and lastly force jump for after initiating from stealth. But Sentinel is probably the best bet.
Would I want to pick Critical Strike since assumedly only 1 hit of Flurry counts for the stealth bonus and unlike Power Strike, Critical Strike has added synergy with stealth as it can stun them (which from what I've just read up on, lets you add Sneak Attack bonuses).
Are dual lightsabers ideal since I can fit more crystals and mods on them, mainly crit related ones?
For stat distribution, would I want a strength or dexterity build with Finesse? I've seen people swear by Finesse builds but I feel like I'd rather take 1+ damage than +1 defence per attribute point.
This is what I came up with for a Sentinel > Sith Assassin. I'm considering dumping one of the 10 point attributes to 8 for 14 int.
>Strength 16
>Dexterity 10
>Constitution 16
>Intelligence 12
>Wisdom 10
>Charisma 10
It would leave me with 4 skill points per level and I can get high repair, stealth, persuade and awareness. I could also sacrifice a few repair and even a bit more of awareness to also pick demolition as a fifth.
Because I do want persuade even as a dark side right? I don't think that Force Persuade works in every single instance as a stand-in for regular persuade, correct?
The 16 constitution would enable the use of the implant 'Physical Boost System' which grants +2 str, +3 dex and +2 con. Another option would be 14 constitution and getting the 'Physical Boost Implant' +2 str, +2 dex and +1 con. Then I'd be able to go 17 str and 11 dex which in effect gets me 19str/13dex/15con as opposed to 18str/12dex/18con (but 16 con seems better).
I've also read that Kreia can give you a permanent +2con if you're dark side but only read it in passing in a plebbit thread I found and am unable to find any actual information on it. Starting with 16con and getting those 2 free points would let me use a +3str, +3dex, +3con implant.
Looking at the implant list on a wiki I saw this 'Strength D Implant' which needs 18con, I don't know if the wiki lists the stats wrong or if it's an oversight in the game. If it is wrong it might be a solid option to use that whilst starting with 16con and getting 2 free from Kreia.
