- PEPSIMAN IS TO BE CONSIDERED A VIDYA He originated through comic and commerical but he is only known through his video game
- If a character has been participated in 3 Mania's in the past, there must be at least 2 manias since their last entrance. This only applies to Season 2, we're starting fresh

Winter Alto is done. Only changes are costumes (2 of them now, one with and one without the mask known as Malice in case you want to try costume-swapping shenanigans), Big Fire was replaced with Fierce Knife-Edge Chop, and Rope Trailing was made a signature move thanks to Big Fire being axed and thanks to a move Alto had in CODA. It is late now where I am, but I can make a Winter Alto with more differences from regular Alto if you want.

Coming to think of it, has Season 2 produced any real "fan favorites" like Cirno, Protoman, or John Doe from Season 1 yet? All the vaguely popular fighters seem to be out because they immediately won their belt in their respective debut mania.
Not saying that there weren't interesting edits (Big Rigs, Kanoman and whatnot), but for one thing it seems we have less people autistically nominating the same character each mania, and for another, I somehow feel like half of the new fighters come from incredibly obscure games or other stuff that no-one safe for the one nomming them really knows (again, as opposed to oldschool stars like Protoman)

Eh its not like season 2 has had a complete lack of memorable characters. Mr. Shake hands man, Lamaj, and Madara have all been extremely memorable, Albeit that might have been just because they won the manias they were nominated in. Hell in general it feels like the champs for season 2 are more memorable in general, and I'd honestly say it is a benefit that each mania has more new faces since it prevents matches from being stale. Hell just look at the temp ban we have for Touhou characters now.
An that being said I still have a couple of brand new noms planned until the 20th mania, where I'll focus on renominating fan favorites. Hell I only nominated John because TNA really wanted him in so he could write lore.

1) the sheer amount of work that goes into a tag team tournament is too much to deal with ontop of getting new fighters, we lucked out on 11. Last mania exactly 1 2hu was nominated even before anyone noticed that it was banned to increase diversity. But thanks to the ban we got a webcomic character that jobbed in the first match instead. And one of the best characters of the same mania was Plum, who was forced into several manias in a row. Possibly Poli'ahu. She likes/is good at human competition and the state of Hawaii once had one of the hardest golf courses (up until it was made a bit easier, though it's still pretty tough), not to mention the handheld Mario Golfs have a strong golfer that is quite literally from Hawaii. Then again, said golf course tends to reward conservative precision over raw power, so Plum might do surprisingly well on it. At the beginning of the game, the good aliens capture Diaz, knock him out, and make Johnny Slater look like him in order to kill Johnny Slater's hybrid replacement. This turns Diaz from a hybrid obedient to the Master (the bad guy alien) into one who starts disregarding the Master's plan just so that he can get revenge on Johnny Slater (which fits into the subplot of hybrids developing human desires). Diaz starts showing up towards the end of the game and is actually the last boss. His whole motivation is to prove that he is better than Johnny Slater.
