I remember back in the late 1990s and early 2000s, almost every normalfag toaster PC that couldn't run the latest AAA titles I sat on, had pirate copies of at least one of these installed - SimPark in particular, was pretty popular.

Fuck I played it, but I was always annoyed that it's the only actual dragon simulator I've seen, and yet it forces you to be a good dragon and is a linear action game. It doesn't sound that bad, but I always wanted a game where you can really feel the freedom of a dragon and to chose your path either being an evil creature of destruction who kidnaps princesses, razes villages etc, being a neutral being that just aquires wealth, or trying to be good. I'm still sad over the fact that there is no good dragon sandbox.

When I was young we were poor and we played games on donated computers and game systems. While going through ancient games we stumbled on the original Wolfenstein. The game basically had to be played with two players, one on the keyboard and one on a joystick. Features included being able to steal fallen enemy soldier's uniforms and (attempting) to fit in with your opponents, a real fun (because you fail half the time and blow yourself up) grenade throwing system. It plays more like Metal Gear than Wolfenstein 3-d in that stealth and subtlety are rewarded over brute force.
