>game with dungeon/castle/cave/medieval cult town/bizzaro labyrinth exploration
>traps that alter terrain and can be used against enemies
>thematic enemies with specific behavior
>pretty much the best thing to go and explore with a party
>a party that could have dedicated classes
<netcode is total cancer to the point of combat being lag-prediction based, rather than real time
<buggy as shit combat that lacks all precision and relies on auto-targeting
<no explorer parties clashing with each other over the loot
<no classes dedicated to exploring, no rope carrying, no climbing, no descending
Why is this so hard to get right ? Dark souls/bloodborne certainly tries but never fully successfully and the netcode is abysmal.
Monster hunter is buggy as fuck.
Vindictus is also buggy as fuck.
Dragon's dogma has less of the good shit and more the grindy gook mechanics.
Why is it so hard to pull of such a game with a valid multiplayer party system that doesn't suck?
Why are all the games that come close, laggy and buggy as fuck ?
Why are legitimate trap mechanisms that are useful so few in these games ?
Why is blocking corridors with shields so rare ?
Why are you actively encouraged to act individually and not in a party ?
