I'm sure /v/ will call me a shill for this, but I found this game yesterday and it was some gamejam concept that reminded me a lot of guns of icarus, except 2d and the ability to board opponents. The cracked multiplayer version works fantastic, but its only 2.99 on steam. Has ANYONE played this? I find it frustrating that steam is killing pc gaming so hard, that I'm finding more and more great titles every day that have no playerbase or failed horribly, regardless of polish.

Just changed PersonaName in Smartsteamemu.ini to whatever you want and add your own ip or your friend's ip before 255.255.255.0 with a space to connect with them to play, launcher with Launcher_64.exe

Even though it looks like qwop, the robots don't really look like robots until you leave them, so to me it feels more like ship battles with different objective, especially when even in a 1v1, you can temporarily jump out of your robot, sabotage their's then jump back into your own and such.
If you look closely in this gif, you can see a fight going on between tiny men.

This is Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime but competitive and with some level of detail; features like boarding and joints give it legitimate personal and team strategy. I'd say it's a step up from pure streamer bait. A bit more variety might be nice, though.
