i go on these often (plus deathrun and minigames), but it feels bit dead without friends, and i live in the other side of the world. i want something to spice me up in the meantime, single player or multi makes no difference

Careful with that shit. Almost all the games /v/ recommended me were total shit. That Sonic Kart game for example is autistic as fuck… good thing is I only paid 7 bucks. Vermintide II is okay I guess but not very good either. Styx is the only good game that /v/ recommended me.

As for games similar to cs, I seriously doubt you will find anything similar. Assuming you already played older games. New games are always badly balanced or suck completely.

Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed? How is that game autistic? Because it has Sonic? It's just a better Mario Kart with Sega characters.

If you don't mind playing another old fps I recommend checking out Urban Terror, I haven't played it in quite some time but I believe there should still be some servers up, give jumping servers/maps a go too, those are usually filled with secrets and fun stuff.
