Maybe it's because there's no consequence to dying(but it also means you have to stop every minute to save the game) and using items from a pause menu trivializes the combat even more.
Managing pawns you don't give a shit about in order to have a full party is also such an unfun chore.
It was a fun little casual game to complete once, but never have I felt the urge to play again even to check out other classes.

Origins is Arkham City 2.5 and the Arkham take on Batman Year One. Its main failings are that it was very buggy at launch and that most boss fights are underwhelming, despite the marketing making a big deal out of the fact you'd be fighting all those assassins.
Arkham Knight isn't bad either, it refines the formula further but, again, the marketing gimmick, in this case the batmobile, turns out to be a letdown.
They're all good games, though mostly on the easy side. Also, sadly enough, they're likely the best written Batman stories to come out in a long, long time.
