Sonicfox won the dbz fighter tourny because he knew his opponent was having issues with one of his eyes and sonicfox tried to switch seats which you can do according to rules to put his opponent on a disadvantage… Everyone beat his ass to see him use that as a tactic to win a tournament. Sonicfox was called out for not winning on skill but taking advantage of someone visually impaired. When he was being screamed at online about it he ran and said he was gay. He is playing a victim while he took advantage of a visually impaired person. He later started taking twitch serious and makes good money on twitch now. You can watch the match yourself and see him use the switch seats tactic.

SonicFox was also the best Skullgirls and Injustice/Mortal Kombat player in the world for several years - it's just that those games are awfully balanced and hugely exploitable, so being champion of them isn't very prestigious compared to games with more options and more advanced neutral like GG, UNIST, Melty Blood, KoF, Tekken, etc. He's tried those games a few times and been thrashed thoroughly, but that doesn't fit the narrative so it's been memory-holed.
