do you have any game that serves as an instrument of relaxation or helps you achieve inner-peace in some degree? those type of games where your mind is left wandering and your body enters in a state of deep consciousness. For me some titles from the bit generations line fit the bill, specially Dialhex

>inner peace

How can one have inner peace when their sense of person and hobbies are relentlessly attacked every day by powers beyond their control?

I usually take at least one break per day to play a few matches of this. Really helps me focus on my work more after I come back to it.

In Buddhism, hell is a (temporary) transitory state that is a result of bad actions/intentions in previous lives, it's not a punishment but part of an infinite cycle as a result of clinging to existence. But Buddhism is basically the strategy for escaping that, not the system itself.

Planet Coaster.

That is my peak 'zen garden' game, and will probably be so for a good while to come. Zero stress, building a park how I want it to look, down to the smallest details. It soothes my autism in a way that other games are yet to do.

Having not watched the video, I don't know what the man is saying. But if you didn't know, Buddhism has fractured into many different traditions over the long time since the Buddha was alive. Maybe it would be informative for you to read this http://www.buddhanet.net/e-learning/basic-guide.htm .

Getting rid of desires is something I hear about all the time from Buddhists. If you're adhering to some very specific teachings, don't jump to the conclusion that everything else is wrong.

Don't be a retard.

Buddhism is the oldest known cultural poison.

TRUE BUDDHISM HAS NEVER BEEN TRIED

IF EVERYONE WAS A BUDDHIST THE WORLD WOULD BE GREAT

564a94  No.15821341

The point of Buddhism is to free yourself from suffering. Not to "wafflestomp" other cultures. Talking from a perspective where the culture with the most land/material goods/power being the best, you are right. However, a whole point of Buddhism is to show that upon further inspection, these things are utterly meaningless. Also, many Buddhists don't live in the conditions you describe.

>Getting rid of desires is something I hear about all the time from Buddhists

But, the very basis of Buddhism is a desire: to become like the Buddha and reach enlightenment (Which creates a paradox, if you will). And, going by the teachings of the guy I posted (Who teaches Seon Buddhism, Korean Buddhism), the actually fact is that everyone already is like the Buddha, we're just not enlightened enough to notice.

>The point of Buddhism is to free yourself from suffering.

That isn't what the story of Aṅgulimāla depicts. Even after he became a monk and reached enlightenment, he still had to suffer for all of his past sins. Also, the master of Hwansan's master even stated that the best time to reach enlightenment are when one is experiencing war and/or strife.
