I think the problem might lay within -why- these famous women are famous. Lianshi if I remember correctly is most famous for being Sun Quan's favorite wife. Yueying was famous for being Zhuge Liang's wife. Zhen Ji is famous for being Cao Pi's wife. That's it. They don't lead armies and even worse (in the opinion of pozzed game devs) they reinforce the idea that the woman's place is in the palace and not on the battlefield; that they aren't as capable as men.
