also if you haven't played the majority of the series you're supposed to have done that, it's like Persona 5 or Danganronpa V3 in that regard, it's technically not a direct sequel but it is intended for fans more than newcomers

Or any new content will simply remain exclusive to the switch and squenix will give everyone who asks why the cold shoulder. That's more their style than giving us free updates and support.

But are they even going to bother with bringing such over? The fact Square couldn't give a fuck about doing so for Joker 2: Professional, and general treatment of Dragon Quest over the years makes me think not.
