There are some actually significant changes in Civ VI but they thought that alone sounded impressive enough so they didn't bother to properly balance anything. It's a broken mess with terrible AI. You constantly get dumb bullshit like:

They'll never fix the bullshit AI that was in 5. If I was capable I'd make my own civ game I fucking hate firaxis, they're number one on my shitlist for destroying my favorite franchise.

Just for those who don't know, they don't have an AI department or whatever. They have an AI guy.

Really low chance on anyone seeing this, but when they announced their latest expansion, I checked out their gameplay stream only to be greeted by some rainbow colored piece of shit.

No wonder they do pozzed shit like scraping bottom of the barrel female leaders instead of including actually relevant male leaders.
