Shame, but I am still glad she's getting some love, she was always one of my favorites way back when I used to be obsessed with the original Donkey Kong Arcade game and then the Donkey Kong Remake on the Gameboy, one of my favorite games. Despite her legacy this will make her first ever playable role in any Mario game.
and damn she's looking good. In Odyssey she got a bit of a breast reduction when she's in her mayor suit, so glad that doesn't seem to be the case here

There's a story from the GCN era that Nintendo internally was actually concerned about the "image" that Smash (Melee) at the time could create with ability to have player made pictures of for example, Mario punching Peach/other female characters. This may have led to any official publicity pictures of Melee apparently never showed males hitting them.

Mario Artist was a series of games for the 64DD designed to showcase the upgraded features compared to the N64. They're like spiritual successors to Mario Paint but cover a wide range of themes rather than just art and music. Only four of the eight games were released with the rest being cancelled after the 64DD flopped. Inazuma Eleven 3 let you do that. Heck there's an entire team of Straya Cunt shitposters, at least an Uncle Sam American girl and plenty of other nationalities too. 2 is the most polished of the series but 3 will always have the best waifus.
The only bad things about the first three games in particular is that 1) they're grindy as fuck for the post game content and 2) the multiplayer suffers from overspecialization if you don't just pick up players that you really like over the overpowered, unlockable ones.
