Although rockstar seems pozzed with kike propaganda, I do want dream of a perfect open world meanstreets action game. This is what I wish for

It's 40k Orkz instead of humans, and you do various jobs for various bosses across Orkalopolis while cruising around on your custom bike (or any trukk whose owner you managed to punch the teef out).

Your character grows larger the more successful you are, to the point that lesser boyz simply flee from you in the late parts of the game - the reason being that you tower over them.

Guns, being orky guns, are stupidly powerful, but also have extremely poor accuracy at anything but relatively close ranges, and also run out of ammo quickly. Melee is heavily encouraged, and you actually can gain "cash" by pulling out the teeth from dead or knocked-down enemies.

The last missions come in the face of an Imperial invasion, with hordes of guardsmen that pose a serious threat to you from afar, but which also fly around like ragdolls once you get up close. The end boss, however, is the current Warboss of Orkalopolis, who sees you as a threat to his power. Crushing his skull with a good, firm headbutt, you take up the mantle of being the Warboss, kick the Imperial invaders off your planet, and launch a sector-spanning Waaagh! in retaliation.

The Crew was kinda interesting though lost a lot in trying to map out the whole country. A whole state would be fairly interesting, actually. The problem is that, the bigger the map, the more content you need to fill it out and you know they're not going to make more content, just spread it out further. That's the problem with all open world games.

Missions have multiple intermediary states

GTA has shit gunplay and combat in general, so fixes for that should be a given. The thing that bothers me most with GTA, and open world games in general, is how boring and pointless the side activities tend to be.

The drug dealing in Chinatown Wars is a perfect example of a well integrated minigame that is both fun and useful, while maintaining a degree of depth.

GTA IV is an example of how not to handle side content. I don't play a game to sit down and watch TV, though if you could play it on the character's smartphone while exploring that would be fine. The social bullshit was pointless as well, I'd much rather complete side missions to ear trust of people than juggle some demented Sims ripoff, though I did like the options it open for you (like the delivery of a weapon shop nearby).

One thing Watch Dogs did right is how you could have any car you unlocked delivered to your location, but it was completely unbalanced since it was free once you paid once IIRC. And that's another thing these games fuck up. The in-game economy is completely broken and the player usually has nothing to spend money on.

As for the driving, I don't really care about realism all that much, but the motorbike driving from 3 through San Andreas was atrocious and sucked out most of the fun out of driving the car.

I'll put a second on the orks, but fantasy not 40k.

I really liked the bike riding in San Andreas and pretty much rode bikes constantly. Unless a mission required it I showed up on a bicycle. It was hilarious to be this monstrous nigger and do drive bys from a bmx. Not to mention the sheer agility of the thing meant it was often faster to ride a bike depending on the turns and such.

Fuck no to any social game garbage. That shit is canceraids. Also any maintenance popups are trash. I want to do what i want to do, not go back and defend from a raid or some shit in the back half of my territory. Maybe like once or twice, but if I wipe out like 50 or sixty of their top guys, I don't see them sending another one anytime soon, and raids should be real stakes, not three dudes.

So, warhammer fantasy, exploration with real dungeons, like litter the landscape with dungeons, actual resource management, potions on cooldown so they have to actually design encounters, not just make yourself mainline potions, no difficulty setting or have it affect spawns if they insist on it rather than bs they take less you take more, lethal combat, lots of different enemies and templates to put on them, some rpg character building mechanics, random loot with no level locks.

Gameplay wise I'm fine with how GTA handles and plays but I'd probably want something a little more freeform like Mount & Blade crossed with the old PC game Gangsters. Like you're just dumped into the world and you have to work your way up to some end goals by any means necessary.

I would fix the lack of guns, make gunstores sell absolutely all kinds of guns regardless of balance and make them all customizables, for a game that mindless violence its main selling point the violence is really lacking, even saints row gave you guns with special abilities on max upgrade and if you didnt liked it you could pick an actual alternative to it.

TL;DR, aside from better controls and physics and better missions, I want them to feel a bit roguelike with randomized missions and such. Also fuck tailing missions, RC heli missions, stealth missions, long dialogue, and driving from A to B without experiencing a single action in between. GTA needs to have as little story and as much action and sandbox exploration as possible.

i agree with you in general, 4's physics was even more satisfying when you tweaked the gun stats, i always liked to drastically lower the force applied to a shot npc, when you shoot someone in the chest with a shotgun they dont fly across the room they fucking crumple and start crying and maybe flail a bit as every major blood vessel is ruptured. it seemed at the time that most people disliked 4's physics and that was disappointing to me, i liked the more realistic direction the series took and to me 5 was a major step back, even modding it's stats you can only do so much with the overall cartoon physics.

What GTA, Just Cause, and all sandbox games need is roving hit-teams looking to whack you. Not necessarily random or something up come up upon, but stalking and chasing and getting in the way of other missions.
