Here's my dream GTA game:
>San Andreas on foot controls
>GTA 4 shooting, driving, and AI
>more guns and more realistic gun handling mechanics
>Elder Scrolls RPG mechanics and inventory system
>early 90s Vice City or early 70's Liberty City settings
>play as Tommy Vercetti again or someone similar to him
>no cinematic bullshit and forced narrative, only fun missions allowed
>actual endgame content
>endless sandbox procedurally generated repeatable missions
>elaborate more on vigilante mission
>can encounter random crime perpetration ala True Crime: NYC
>can choose to be a good guy or a bad guy
>take side game elements from GTA 2 and Chinatown Wars
TL;DR, aside from better controls and physics and better missions, I want them to feel a bit roguelike with randomized missions and such. Also fuck tailing missions, RC heli missions, stealth missions, long dialogue, and driving from A to B without experiencing a single action in between. GTA needs to have as little story and as much action and sandbox exploration as possible.

>The Rise and Fall of Driver
Driver simply fell because the creator of all the games in the series, Martin Edmondson, completely retired from gaming industry after releasing Driver San Francisco. Nobody else wants to continue making Driver, certainly not ubishit. The Crew was fucking garbage despite being worked by the largely the same team as Driver San Francisco for that sole reason, Edmondson's retirement.
