I've been thinking about how suspect the whole set-up with the fountains is:

I didn't like Undertale much, but I tried this anyway because it's the new Toby Fox game. I absolutely love it, love the systems, love the characters, love the aesthetics, love the silly humor. I'm shocked how much I liked it and how much I'm anticipating the full game.
I decided to play Undertale again so I can get better context for Deltarune. I was fully prepared to admit that I'm a contrarian faggot who pretended not to like Undertale because of the cancer surrounding it. Instead, I found that I still don't like Undertale. It comes across as unpolished, fake, and trying too hard to pander to Tumblr, where Deltarune felt much more genuine. Deltarune literally has swapped gender role furbait for two of the main characters, yet somehow Undertale feels more "furry" in the worst way. Everywhere I walk it it feels like I'm surrounded by deviantart OCs. The sense of humor is the same yet it comes across as cringeworthy. Papyrus making ineffective traps and puzzles is literally the same joke you see in Deltarune, yet every time he talks I want him to shut up.
I got to Snowedin and quit the game to fight Jevil again.
I feel the worst parts of Deltarune are where he tries to tie it back to Undertale. I didn't care about any of the shit going on in town except as framing for the dark world. I feel like Deltarune could have been ever better if he had committed fully to making it its own separate thing. And since the first chapter of Deltarune essentially contains the "progression" of a full game, I worry that the rest of the game will be tied up in more Undertale meta bullshit.
I dunno, am I a retard with dumb opinions? Maybe. Just throwing it out there if anyone that didn't like Undertale was on the fence about trying this.

This was the worst part about some of the music, personally. The OST isn't as good overall, compared to Undertale it's just serviceable and has fewer tracks I really like, but the problem for me is when the music hearkens back to Undertale's melody.
Deltarune seems to be following a separate motif and from what Toby says he mostly wants it to be a different game, even if it is "for people who played Undertale."
In the few instances where he hits the melody from Undertale instead of Deltarune, it feels a lot like shameless nostalgia-baiting and pandering.
The HOPES and DREAMS bit was also pushing it for me. Callbacks to Hopes and Dreams (the music) is less welcome than that, regardless of how much I liked that tune.
Or maybe Deltarune still has the same melody and I'm just fucking tone deaf.

Can we admit, like Toby already has himself, that Card Castle was mostly lazy? I know this is only chapter 1, but I wanted a more interesting place for a final dungeon. The forest was plenty interesting and even had a maze challenge, the field gets a pass for being a tutorial area, but the castle? It has a real cool leadup to it and the prison part was neat, but I wanted just a liiiiittle more from the main floors. Maybe a miniboss, or maybe one actual puzzle that somehow survived Rouxls' incompetence, or enemy encounters that actually feel like harder versions of the previous ones.
Chaos King and Jevil are obviously exempt from this critique, they clearly had effort put into them that I appreciated.

What does it matter? The final boss typically carries more story gravitas than the postgame boss, so they're the more satisfying fight thematically. Why not give them a buff after the player's cleared postgame content so they can be fun mechanically too?

For me it is far more memorable, that's just me. I'm kinda at a crossroads, I liked Undertale, but I seem to like Deltarune more, and Deltarune is just a goddamn demo made out of unused content for Undertale. Yeah, DR's linearity is far more visible, and it's part of the experience rather than the result of stripping away alleged layers of choice. I was genuinely surprised when I encountered the enemies at the final castle and they had reacted to my actions beating them up. Also the final bosses of Undertale aren't unlosable. My friend who just played for the first time managed to die to Photoshop Flowey a couple times, Asriel will kill you until you get him to his second form, and Sans I still can't beat but for the first two there is definitely a cutoff point where you can't lose to them, but you do have to reach that point first.
That's not to say it's generally difficult, most of the game is piss easy and there really isn't as much choice as it leads you to believe, but Toby does a good job of making it still enjoyable I think.

They do, Lavender and Eucalyptus are especially good for stress relief, I use a generic body wash with lavender and honey, it works for in the moment relief.

Overall the bath oils, salts and soaps do work and work well and are exceedingly worth it to invest in, but won't solve all your issues that are causing the depression, anxiety or stress in the first place, but it will help you get into a position to solve these issues. Stress, anxiety and depression are all manageable, and while they may never leave you, you can still feel good even if it plagues you. Therapy is a good solution as well.
One thing that's unhealthy is to ignore your own vulnerabilities and wall them off from the world so no one can see them. You need to confess your inner feelings SOMEHOW, or deal with them privately in a way that makes you feel better.
I figured this out when I had a very bad panic attack and my mom suggested oils that my sister had, and it worked for me. I haven't had one since.

If you want to add bone details around the ribs, you only need straight lines on the torso. The head on the first one should cause shading on the chest since it sticks out.
The second one is flat as fuck, you need a strong chest to make it work. Check the original kris sprite and not how the chest is empasized over the pants to provide form. It's also good to note that a waist isn't flat either, it's like a cylinder when you're working on perspective. never have a square ending for a waist in spriting unless it's really called for or is intended as a straight side shot instead of the "looking down" cheat angle that people normally operate from.
It's a good first shot, but i'm just going to iron out a couple of early experience errors while i'm here.

Normally the Party system isn't supposed to work in the overworld
And if you enter the overworld while in the dark world you're huge
Ralsei only has dark world collision and sprites so putting in the overworld makes him both huge and unable to really move at all.

I dont know why people keep saying this, considering if you go pacifist, The King is overthrown and Lancer is put in charge of the darkworld, whileas hurting people gives the ending where the enemies rush to aid The King. These are two completely different outcomes already. I know TobyFox already said theres only going to be one ending but I dont buy it.

You could choose to date or hang out with Papyrus in Undertale, but while there was differences the distinction hardly mattered.

Assuming he's not lying, I imagine that we're going to learn that turning off one of the dark fountains causes the land and people who were empowered by it to stop existing. In other words, it doesn't matter if Lancer becomes king by overthrowing his dad, or if we defeat the king and turn off the fountain while he's still unconscious, since ten minutes later we caused Lancer, the king, and everyone else except Ralsei and ourselves to just stop existing.
But that could just as easily not happen, or Toby Fox could be lying, or some other event could occur that makes our choice irrelevant.
