Linux isn't going anywhere. Linux isn't something that a company going bankrupt can stop. As long as someone continues development Linux will never die. Things like Windows and Mac have expiration dates. As soon as the company goes bankrupt those operating systems are as good as dead. Even if people wanted to they couldn't maintain them because they don't understand the OS completely, they lack information about what goes on under the hood. This is the reason you should never utilize or invest in proprietary software.

Valve is thinking of making their own virtual reality headshits and leaks show that they've already made some and acquired a way of producing them. Of course, it's going to go nowhere, just like every other nuValve project like fuckin Steam Home and the Steam Controller and the fuckin Steam Box and the fucking HTC garbage they put out. It's gonna be a fun fire to watch burn down though, if a little disheartening. I used to like Valve, but it's clear they are just kikes at heart. Fuck them, hope Gabe dies very soon.

None of those things sold well, it was just one failure after another and they put so much effort into trying to turn a PC into some kind of a console.
I'm honestly surprised the idea didn't fly well at all with the general users.

Don't be surprised. Every VR game, even to this day, has been naught but tech demos. The gimmick of VR actually runs out of all its novelty soon after playing it. Most people would get the opportunity at their nearest Microsoft Store which does VR headset trials and stuff for free. Others would get the opportunity at a friend's house, or even with the cheap little phone VR headsets which are somehow even crappier than the real deal VR games.
That's my theory about it, anyways. The biggest 'game' VR ever got was the chat room thing where you could use personal 3D avatars but soon people realized you could play that literal garbage without need of a VR headset so out the fuckin window that possible cashcow went.
Also, nevermind the fucking inane requirements VR asks. You need to have a huge EMPTY room in order to play even their more basic games, and even then there are still the wires connected to the gay headset which will likely trip you.

hmmm, I wish they would make more games like these. I've never played Wasteland 2 or New Vegas but i've heard lots of good things. with Diablo going mobile phone only, we need more stuff like dark alliance and the bard's tale to come out for Console and PC, thats one good thing I can say about microsoft. unlike (((Sony))) at least they let first party games come out for PC.
