You may be fucking around with dying if unlucky, but by this point, you can never die or be stopped, and it's only a matter of time till you add to your harem with a little sister, the whatever else- feel free to trigger the main quest in that one dungeon of lesmias, and then work on getting skills and a storage house to place at puppy dungeon as you work towards a nice shop.
But yeah, speeding that shit and stocking on companions is the way to go.
