It's the dullest and most shallow stuff out there. Everything from the story to the encounters and just general design of things is awful and it goes on for what feels like forever. Playing it felt like pure MMO grinding.
Maybe, just maybe, it's tolerable if you play it co-op with a friend or two that are funny to hang out with but otherwise it's just not worth it. It's not buggy nor is it as offensively agenda pushing as Bioware's later titles but even so the actual content is worse than mediocre.

Problem is, Fighter/Weapon Master means you almost certainly took 7 WM to grab the crit upgrade. You probably took 1 fighter for weapon + armour prof or 4 fighter for 2 feats and BAB.
Taking any level of wizard means you lose at least 1 BAB and you didn't take any levels of eldritch knight and insead chose WM which leaves you with at worst: 29 Wizard/4 Fighter/7 WM leaving you with only 29 spell levels. Best case scenario you are 32 W/1 F/7 WM. If you took practiced caster feat that boosts it up to 33 or 36 spell levels. I assume you also took epic spell penetration which gives you an effective caster level of 39 or 42 when piercing spell resistance. This is assuming you were trying to maximize spell usage.
On the other hand, you said that you can pierce SR 32 95% of the time which means you have a CL of 30 including PC feat and ESP. Leaving you with 20 Wizard levels. This gives you a build that's probably 13 Fighter/7 Weapon Master/20 Wizard.

You need at least 24 caster level to stop yourself being greater dispelled.
But yeah you're pretty close. I took 2 fighter levels post epic for discipline dumps and epic weapon specialization/Focus.
Compared to a full CL caster you're not going to have super strong uncapped caster scaling spells like damage shields. Still good enough though. This is a level 40 warrior that is killing himself hitting me.
878693 No.15672262
>>15672177
You could have gotten 24 CLs with 20 Wizard and a practiced caster feat, which pushes your CL to 24.
You should have taken the fighter and WM levels during the first 20 levels, since your BAB at level 20 determines how many iterative attacks you get at epic levels. Doing so would also have improved your fort and ref saves at the expense of your will save due to how epic levels change the save progression.
Is your will save the one you're having trouble with?

Divine might and Divine Shield, if you see a Charisma character with Turn undead, it's guaranteed they are picking up one of those two feats.
Bards are the best debuffer thanks to Curse Song being almost unblockable and because it lowers saves which means more debuffs.
It gets worse in NWN 2 where bards are also the best damage dealer and healer too.

878693 No.15672488
>>15672480
2 feats, Song of Requiem and Hymn of Requiem. It uses a single song to do damage for 10 turns based on your perform skill. The damage is unblockable except for damage resistance, the damage is done in an AoE around the Bard and when you pick up the second feat the song heals you and your party too. For 10 rounds.
Average damage per song round is 60, average healing is 30. Which results in 600 damage and 300 healing per song use.
This is just the result of 2 feats, then you bring in Inspirations which makes you a better fighter than a buffed melee cleric. Then you bring in Divine Might and Shield for even more Cha cheesing. Then you take into account how many skill points Bards get. Add in either Dragon disciple or Blackguard for more melee power.
Built correctly, a bard is a jack of all trade and the master of many.

The only dickhead in this conversation is the one your father used to suckle your dumb ass with. Magic missiles do 1d4+1(x5) and there's so, so, so many different ways to nullify them. Magic shield, magic immunity +2 and more artifacts then reasonable for what's objectively a decent if nothing special low level spell.
Isaac's greater missile storm on the other hand is mary sue tier roided out spell that's supposed to rank and file with classics like the lightning bolt and the fireball. Except it trumps the ever loving fuck out of them and almost everything else in the game. We're talking 2(3)d6x20 with no friendly fire risk, pure magic damage, smart targeting so it's great in almost any situation. You can maximize the bitch so it's even better then most r9 spells. There's also no fucking saving throw apart from the standard spell resistance, so the goddamn thing can outdamage even the r10 epic Hellball on the account of the 1/2 reflex save it has.
In short, one's 5-20(6-25) reasonable level one spell and the other 240(360!) expansion pack broken shit that's preB& on just about any server worth their salt.
