>What's your dream 40k game /v/?
>Game about a brand new chapter (you make it in a creator before you begin the game)
>First task is to secure a home planet they are gifted
>Warp fuckery decimates the chapter while in transit
>Only a very small portion of one company arrives
>Planet is fucked
>Chaos cults rapidly growing in power
>Several colonies swear allegiance to Tau
>Eldar pirates and dark eldar raids while simultaneously wagging their dicks at each other
>Main character is acting chapter master as the highest in command
>Have to secure the planet and bring everything under control
>Must build a fortress monastery
>Cannot allow gifted home planet to be exterminated
>Planetary view where you can organize units, equipment, and structures, as well as choose when and where to deploy
>Have to recruit more marines using your limited gene seed reserves and assist the PDF to gain allies and advantages in combat
>Combat would be real time with pause where you deploy to a location and have to either complete an objective or clear the map of all enemies
>Midgame
>Inquisitor shows up
>Tells you that if you don't maintain good progress then the planet will be purged and the chapter disbanded
>More of your chapter arrives in a damaged ship
>They are the last scraps of your chapter
>Other space marine chapter shows up
>Sees state of planet
>Declares you renegades and focuses on attacking or sabotaging you
>Chaos cults progress
>Chaos marine and daemon appearances
>Crushing one cult too hard results in a power vacuum causing other cults to rapidly fill it out
>Craftworld Eldar incursions begin due to "mysterious reasons"
>In reality they're trying to locate and reclaim something either the pirates or the dark eldar have taken
>Recapturing settlements that are loyal to the Tau grants large resource bonuses to both the player and the PDF
>But every settlement slowly unleashes an Ork Waaagh that the Tau were containing
>At one point have a ceremony declaring you the official chapter master, once the last remnants of your chapter arrives and the fortress monastery is complete enough
>Win the game by defeating each faction in a final "boss encounter", with every other boss getting harder after each one being defeated
It has to be a custom chapter because you want to handle your doctrine your own way, have your own relations, and I'm also sick of all of these games adopting the same 3-6 original chapters and being forced to adhere to what that chapter would do.
