I think its finally time to upgrade my graphics card I purchased in 2011 on my PC(nVidia GTX 460 1GB GDDR5), but I don't really know much about the current generation of hardware. I'd like to be able to play some recent games at decent FPS even if at low settings. I know bitcoin has inflated the prices of graphics cards through the roof and I don't really know where to even begin looking for a good card at a non jewish price. I would like to spend $100 to $200 dollars if thats even in the realm of possibility. Need some advice from any hardware fags who don't mind.

Depends which country you're in. Also, you should define "recent"; I had a GTX770 for a few years that could play even new games with a very passable fps.

However, I moved countries and had to sell my rig, so I'm thinking about getting/building a new computer. I've been out of the loop for a few years since building my last computer. Which manufacturers should I go with? Intel vs. AMD? Nvidia vs. AMD? I know I'm going to get jewed either way, but how do I minimize the jewness?

Also, why the fuck is there RGB everything now?

Dude a gtx 460 is more like living on life support, if you want something cheap but decent go for an used gtx 970 it still can run games like Forza Horizon 4 at high settings and 1080p60, these cards go for like $150-$200 but require two 6-pin connectors.

Otherwise if you want new, a 1050ti isnt as good but it doesnt need a great psu to run only a single 6pin for power, and ultimately if your PSU is shit and doesnt have these connectors just get a regular 1050.

Yea, its pretty old at this point. Where would I go about sourcing and purchasing a used card like that? I would prefer to avoid amazon as I try to never do business with them.

If you have a PC from 2011 you're a few generations behind and are going to need entirely new hardware. If you want it for $100-200 just get a console at that point.
