Azwel's big spinning move and rushing blade move, the ones you might have seen a lot, are unsafe on block, use a quick attack after them. If he uses an Axe move, his B+K is the Kinniku buster that hits low first, if he uses a Blade move, his B+K is a two step launcher with range, spear is a launcher.
If you don't know what he's going to do next, Reverse Edge to stop the pressure.
He has a lot of moves and feels powerful to play, but his only gimmick is his big unsafe moves and his low hitting attack throw.

So I got it downloaded and actually played a bit of the Libera me from hell of Souls.
TL;DR Soul Calibur 3 is still better content wise.
This mode is basically 3's story mode, except you can use CaS, the choices are weather you want to use a good or evil weapon: or 2's side mode if you prefer. It's nice that you can change your character basically at will but it kinda cheapens things honestly. CoS locking you in with certain decisions like job made you consider who you made/took; either taking people who's style you like or can use to cheese with. Here's it's just dumping you with choice but ultimately you'll never bother going outside your comfort zone.
Also the weird RPG aspect is in relation to your weapon for damage and level for health.
As a side note; I now realized why my Xbox one controller I bought was half priced from an official one. It's super sloppy and the A button sticks so I can't block (or I'm super committed to it) though I think I'll take it apart and sand the hole a bit larger And both control stick and D pad are sloppy. So how's it with keyboard (which is just a fightstick minus the anolog joystick when you think about it)?
