I think that was only after the war. Algerians for instance were given colonial citizenship and allowed into France (maybe that was before the war, but I don't think so), and later (60s or so) were given full citizenship because muh poor oppressed niggers. Arguable, TV as a medium is made obsolete by the internet. There are still plenty of people who watch TV sure, for now, but TV has very little attractiveness compared to streaming programs from the Internet. Just like Pachinko in Japan is dying with the older generations, TV will become nothing more than a novelty and for the poor. Even if you move TV programs online, you have wide variety of entertainment to choose from that the poz has to compete with. People watch fewer films for the same reason, its largely a social function these days, but film has its niche. Music is diverse and abundant enough to make everybody happy, even if you try to poz it, the poz will just get tuned out.
