I honestly think the gunplay looks pretty good. The recoil, enemy animations, and sound effects all make it look like a really strong gun.

I work at a classic game shop and we don't stock new things unless they're traded in. I'll probably get it a month or two down the line for 10 bucks or free.

My main problem with it is that there's so little gameplay shown, i don't believe a word about its gameplay features. Because of how cinematic it is, its probably not fun to actually play.

I believe they also cut down the ability to lasso people on your horse from RDR1. And few other things are locked away behind multiplayer. Probably robberies will be only allowed for story missions and multiplayer heists, while you cannot do your own robberies in singleplayer outside of story.

There's also a thing about character's health being rediculous, you can tank lots of hits, and dead eye even easier than before.

Honestly I just wish the single player could be halfway decent. I know I should be avoiding RS for being the greedy kikes they have been, but I do have a tendency to get games to scratch an autistic itch. A lot of the gameplay details are giving me hope that they're going more in the direction of GTA San Andreas rather than GTA5. Because it isn't really that impressive as a feature (if you have technical knowledge; it was obviously impressive to a lot of clowns that bought it) and only really serves as a "nice to have." Think about how the game industry worked at the time. Oblivion came out when the big push for setpieces and "cinematic gameplay" was really picking up steam.

Also, I think Gothic had the feature several years prior. As a matter of fact Gothic 1 still annihilates most modern RPGs in terms of a believable world and relatable NPCs that act like people and it accomplishes that in spite of "idle NPC conversation" and not because of it.

The clothes thing I think is tied with the hygiene part, nothing more. I'd guess it'd be along the lines of MGSV. I wouldn't be surprised if wading through a river or taking a dive into a lake would wash most of that grime and dirt off your clothes.

Fixing bugs isn't polish. Polish is tightening up the mechanics, presentation, etc. from a design side to make things work better. Open world games often have to spend too much late dev time on bugfixing (so the game isn't a complete mess) to have the team devoted to balance and such. As a result they're often kind of a clusterfuck of clashing elements.

Like how in GTA IV people calling you would be extremely inconvenient and was poorly integrated into the mission structure - instead of being able to suggest a later time, you could either accept or reject the invitation. Rejection would hurt the relationship, even though you weren't available because you were on a mission, and so would accepting but not showing up. The only way to handle it reasonably was to accept the invite and then cancel, which doesn't affect the relationship but is completely unintuitive. This is a glaringly obvious flaw that would have been fixed if GTA IV had been polished, but being an open world game, the team had to spend more time fixing bugs than making sure the different design elements were well-integrated.

It's technically possible, but you wouldn't hit anything and you probably wouldn't want to hold the trigger down for too long. The one int he first .gif is a SAW, which just fires the same ammo that an M16 fires, but since it's full auto it'll actually push you back a bit even when you're using the bipod and are laying prone behind it, at least it did me when I qualed on it. The other one is still the same gun but it's got an M60E4 skin on it, which fires a bigger round but I've heard the recoil is actually pretty controllable on it.

I think a lot of the hate for nuHitman was due to it initially having Denuvo. There's still that always online feature that's really annoying, but the game has gotten a significant amount of free DLC since, and the prologue mission was also made free so people could play the game. There was a lot to be concerned about when it first came out, but for the most part the game is pretty good now. My biggest gripe with it is that NPCs don't notice blood pools and there are no bloody footprints, which makes using the garrote pointless as soon as you unlock something like a concealable knife. Just got out of the two hour tutorial.

>absolutely beautiful. A lot of devs like to throw around the word “immersive” but this really does feel like you’re in the world

>OST can be god tier

>good voice acting and faces that look great and acoid uncanny valley

>good AI and neat technical stuff

-gameplay feels very… “complex” might be a nice word for it. There’s a 2 hour tutorial yet so much info is flying at you it feels like you barely learned anything at all. The game lets you basically do everything but it almost feels like it could have been streamlined just a bit. Still, I feel this could just be something you need to git gud at

-wonky controls, they just feel awkward but again that might be something that gets better with practice. There’s a LOT going on on the controller and there’s some awkwardly placed buttons.

<follow missions are all throughout the tutorial and it’s bad. I hope that isn’t the whole game because following people to get some dialogue just isn’t that fun.

<the sluggish movement feels dated and I hate how the movement is contextual. When you’re in a camp/house it’s completely different to when you’re outside and that can be different than when you are in combat

R* did the same thing in GTA online and I fucking hate it. When you spawn in your nightclub you're not allowed to run so instead you have slowly walk all the way to your office in the back and it can take kinda awhile since the nightclubs are so big. It drives me insane. Glad too hear overall though that i's shaping up to be pretty decent.

The story will be about you as a white character fighting for "oppressed" blacks and indians against your own kind.
