It should work in the following manner:
1. It comes in the form of a list of games ordered from best to worst overall ratings (if multiple reviews are given, they are merged together, rotten tomatoes style, except only with /v/'s verified and selected critics being the exclusive source of the reviews), the games on the list can be filtered via the use of tags, allowing for only games that have and/or do not have certain tags applied to them to show up.
we make a best to worst list because this is a games recommendation site, and simply listing a bunch of games of varying quality in the alphabetical order of their titles, or chronological order of their release dates, forces the reader to wade through the shittier games to get to something good, we want them to start with the best, move onto the next best, then go to the third best, and really get a feel for our board's collective tastes in games.
2. Once a game title is clicked on, it takes you to it's page and shows a brief description of it's component elements, by which I mean things like such as plot, setting, and characters, or gameplay, difficulty, and fun, or graphics, audio, and controls (<- purely examples pulled out from my ass to illustrate what I'm talking about by the word "components" - the smaller elements that make up a game which can be independently analyzed).
3. as for money, we can go by no funding, donations (and maybe offering rewards?), ads (from 8chan approved advertisers), etc.
4. as for who should run it, the first thing we should try is to try and get the /v/ admins and mods to admin and mod the wiki as well, considering how I don't expect the wiki to be particularly busy, it shouldn't be too much of an ask.
If that wont work, we simply figure that out in this thread, some anon tried to start an 8/v/ recommended games wiki, we could take that one and renovate it.
