Each "class" of weapon shotgun, rifle/sniper/bow, secondary, melee has a basic +dmg% mod. Respectively, they are Point Blank, Serration, Hornet Strike and Pressure Point. Try to get those up to around halfway ranked at least you can max Pressure Point and Point Blank though, since they have fewer overall levels and thus are less expensive since the cost of maxing out Serration and Hornet Strike is prohibitive at your stage in the game.

Next, look at the stats for the weapon. As an example, Dread, the bow from Stalker, has a base crit chance of 50%. This is a LOT of crit, so you want to slap on the appropriate crit-enhancing mods, in this case Point Strike (more crit %) and Vital Sense (more dmg on crit). If a weapon has a lot of status, generally considered to be anything above 20%, then using the "dual stat" status mods is a good idea. These mods are acquired in a variety of ways, but you can get the electric-element mods from Baro right now. They're 300 ducats each, and I would get them if you at all can afford too, even if it means dumping some prime parts you'd rather not give up don't trash vaulted stuff though. There's currently no other way to sanely acquire these mods. There's a small chance to get them during Hive Sabotage missions on Eris, but you can't even access Eris yet. Ideally, you'd grab the rifle and shotgun versions of the mod, as the pistol and melee versions are comparatively less important.

So in short, if crit looks to be above 20-30%, build it with the appropriate critical mods and supplement with damage increase, like from the silver-quality +elemental damage mods. If status is 20% or over, build it for status using the dual stat mods. If you can't do either of those, use the silver-quality +elemental dmg mods to get a large increase in raw damage alongside your Pressure Point/Serraion etc. mod.

Considering this is one of the few weapons used to reliably take down ayydolons, you're fine there. Make sure you have a potato on it. Common wisdom is that most "prime" items are worth a potato, with a few exceptions. In this case, get the Orokin Catalyst from the Gift of the Lotus event you did do that alert right? and slap it on your Vectis to double our mod capacity. Without any forma, that alone should have the space for a high-ranked Serration and some +elemental dmg mods, which will be more than enough dmg to take you through the entire star chart. You could probably even slap some utility like +reload speed or punch through on it too.

Also, as counter-intuitive as it may seem, always try to be leveling at least one new weapon at all times. This will help crank your MR up, which will unlock access to new weapons and frames, as well as make it so any new items you get, be they frames, companions or weapons, will start with extra mod points based on your Mastery Rank.

Well I can only speak for myself, but I've managed to sell pretty much everything I get my hands on. Sometimes I sell it within a few hours, sometimes it'll sell a few weeks later. The point is that your items will sell so long as you're persistent in trying to sell them. You don't have to spend a long time in trade chat, just dedicate a certain amount of time to doing that and see if you get some hits. If not, then drop it for a while to do something else and come back. It's like fishing; sometimes you get lucky, sometimes you don't. If you don't want to do that, then just post your items on warframe.market, and just make a point to log in to your account every time you play the game. This way, you can pretty much forget about trade chat and just play the game, while you wait for people to come to you and ask for your items.

It's not even that, regular defense missions have a higher enemy level after the same amount of time in an arbitration alert. It's the laziest non-content I think they've ever put out, basically just a new drop table and a red shield drone. You'll be defeated by boredom long before you're defeated by enemies unless you're absolutely fuckawful.

The only enjoyment of the mode was the first day when everyone was scared that leaving would forfeit their loot. As host, you could hold the group hostage after they were dead and just keep going solo. I took a group up to 70 minutes who were all dead by the 20 minute mark with them begging for me to stop, and I only stopped to do eidolons.

Riven sales are hard and take a tremendous amount of game knowledge to do well. Stick to selling rivens veiled as it's extremely easy, high volume, and they can be listed on warframe.market. Or, sell them unrolled but you'll need to spam and list them on riven.market and it takes a while to clear from your inventory.

Don't roll a riven unless you've shopped for an expensive riven before. Otherwise you won't understand what a buyer is looking for (and it differs per weapon) and why your riven is trash that insults everyone you suggest buying it to. Even if you do get the perfect riven, volume is low so it takes a lot of spamming to find a buyer. Also realize the guys that flip rivens are mentally pricing in having to spam for a month to sell your riven.

This does not grant affinity towards MR again.

I think the biggest thing for arbitration is to bring the right weapons with the right mods with the right frame. All purpose weapons like the Tiberon Prime are worse than using a Panthera with Fanged Fusillade against Infested. But the Panthera is a better off being used for Survivals and Defection, where you're more likely to make good use of the bounces and punch through compared to the typically more open maps of Defense and Excavation. Mag is great against the Infested and Grineer, but Corpus Nullifiers make her life hell. Etc, etc.

If all else fails, just use Chroma for everything. The only ways you can die are your own stupidity, getting knocked off the edge of the map and losing your Vex Armor, turning a corner into a Nullifier bubble, and running out of energy. Also: USE SPECTERS. The 1 star specters are good enough, too. Chroma, Harrow and Frost specters are all pretty good.

Safeguard Nezha is another good addition. Being able to put a 90% DR shield on your entire team and their companions too goes a long way. My usual setup is Nezha with Safeguard and a power build alongside either Arca Plasmor or my tricked out Astilla. The combination of defense, CC and being able to proc health orbs on demand is huge. Gara and Oberon are also great when built correctly, but more reliant on your teammates not fucking off to some out of the way part of the map and missing out on buffs.

I blew through pretty much all of the starchart with a Sobek with Corrosive Shells (a unique weapon mod which causes aoe corrosive explosions on target upon death, and can cause chain reactions). Big mags. Good fire rate. AoE clear. The only grinding along the way I did was to get some status+damage mods for it.

I think in the end I only put 4 forma in it. I think I also used Hek for single targets I couldn't get through. Hek feels to clunky and slow for my liking. With Sobek you get to slide through levels and cause he chain reactions.

Find a weapon you enjoy using and that is actually decent at killing stuff. Decent at killing stuff means no semi-auto riffles/pistols, a good weapon mows down hordes of enemies. Then you put an orokin catalyst and some forma in it. Try going for raw damage over status chance for your modding, and use the appropriate elemental combinations for whichever faction you're fighting: Corrosive for Grineer and Corrupted, Toxin for Corpus (or Gas if you have a pure Toxin/Heat weapon), and Corrosive or Blast for Infested. Once you're more situated, I'd recommend having a weapon tailored to fighting each faction, along with a decent Riven Mod. Hell, a simple +dmg/+faction dmg/shit negative Riven is more than enough for sorties and arbitrations.

The Lotus or Ordis probably chatters about charging something or other, and the idea is you stand next to the pillar thingies at the top of each ramp and charge them with your shields while you avoid the Stalker.

As far as weapons go, Tigris is fine for what you're doing. You're facing some Sentient though, and they're meant to be ass to fight until you finish The War Within at which point you acquire the ability to deal with them more reliably.

You can keep doing eidolon capturas and all you are going to get is maxed out standing in quills for whatever he offers and focus for your operator focus tree. as of focus 2.0 focus trees are mostly to buff your operator that still doesnt have a use outside of eidolons and kuva.

Now lets put back in the arcanes DE recycled from existing content and there is the current state of tridolons. DE honestly expected people from raids to move over to eidolons boy were they shocked. Id honestly go back to farming arcanes for profit but eidolon hunting isnt fun. its mindnumbing and restrictive. here are the 4 warframes you have to pick from and if its anything else im not playing with you. shoot large thing until blinks red shoot shoulder take cover repeat. If DE wanted to make the fights interesting for the other 2 reskins that could but didnt. the process goes like this:

Go to the plains when night starts

go to the different grineer caps across the map hacking and collection lures (those balloon looking things. that keep the eidolon from teleporting away after you have dmged it and are a vessel for the eidolon's soul)

(each of the 3 eidolons requires a set amount of lures in order for you to get loot)

go find the eidolon that spawned from a giant pillar of energy

before or during the start of the fight try to get one lure filled with the tiny vomvalyst that spawn randomly (they have a stupid spawn rate so you might have to go looking for them)

TIP: if you have more than one lure following you just all but one so its easier for you to fill one with 3 charges (it will glow blue to show it is filled)

now you are ready to start the fight.

like i said before just it with your amp until its shields go down.

then just shot one of its weak points.

after this you will get warned of an energy spike.

you can go into operator mode to avoid getting dmg.

you do this cycle 3 times and then you get to the final phase.

the eidolon will call for help from the vomvalasyte

during this time you can shoot them down and fill up your lures.

the eidolon will get back up and you can kill it. collect your reward from the popped baloons and thats fight 1.

you can either go back to the gate and reload a new session or you can go spawn the 2nd and 3rd one by placing the obtained shard in a shrine at the middle of the main lakes on cetus. the only difference from the first one is they are faster you need more lures they have more phases and they spit back alot more damage

Most groups go to Akkad, Berehynia, or if you want ultra efficiency Hydron, If you don't want to level a frame on Hydron I highly suggest Sonar Banshee or Speedva. The map is the small grineer defense so just standing in the middle mashing your ability when needed hits the entire map.

Also it depends on what node you're doing for defense since exp scales up to a certain point. It's why Bere and Hydron are used more so than Akkad is, since enemies are already very high at wave 1.

All you gotta do is hit your ability's and not kill anyone yourself thanks to how affinity works when a team mate kills shit. Thats the most effective way to grind levels in that way everyone fucking hates it and it's boring but god damn it works.

Also I forgot to mention that there is a good way of leveling up melee and frames incredibly fast, you just need to do a stealth run having a second player on equinox sleep spamming every room while you stab each person individually. This gets a lotta affinity really fucking fast. 2-3 Runs of Adaro on Sedna usually does the trick as long as you both don't mess it up and drop the stealth multiplier too much.

Try to pick one good all-around frame and weapon and make a perfect build without primed mods, farm up the specific things you need rather than just farm randomly. After the starchart you probably have embarrassingly shit builds and performance, and likely don't even have a full set of corrupted mods yet. So that's what you'll find yourself farming.

I played the "free" blizzcon release of Destiny 2 over the weekend. Within 1 day I had finished the plot and soft-capped my not-gearscore. The only way I can advance further is doing the same not-dungeons on a weekly lockout as nothing else is a source of higher level gear. There's literally no point to playing that game more than a couple hours every Tuesday, and they've moved a lot of content that used to be in "the base game" to the DLC. For example, I'm at the currency cap too (lol) after 1 day and there's nothing to sink it on as they moved the sink to the $40 (realistically, $70) Forsaken DLC.

Getting scammed out of your quest riven is a rite of passage.

To sell stuff, use warframe.market and trade chat. warframe.market is easier, especially for bulk goods, but trade chat is better for high value, low volume items.

Stay away from rivens. Trading them as a business requires extreme amounts of game knowledge that you won't have, and the success stories you hear are almost always lottery winnings, not skilled trading. Don't take financial advice from gamblers. Sell the ones you get veiled, which can be done on warframe.market.

It was at best a chance for a do-over from a company that didn't do it right the first time. And they fucked up the do-over and rivens made the gap between shit and non-shit MASSIVELY wider. They're worthless for shit weapons, no one buys them, their purpose now is to take overpowered weapons to completely ridiculous levels.

The core issue is that riven stats are not additive (except for slide clit). Because of that, bad weapons get only a small improvement from a riven while good weapons get a huge one. Riven disposition, even if it was assigned correctly, is way too small a factor to correct for that scaling. Bad weapons cannot be saved by a "god roll".

It's been ancillary to the entire thing, but there's lots of fluff discussion usually during devstreams about the background of Orb Vallis. The long and the short of it was that the Orokin had terraformed Venus into something much nicer than the blasted hellhole it's supposed to be, and following the fall of the Orokin, the coolant used in the process of terraforming Venus all stopped being used and pooled under the ground, essentially returning Venus to a slightly-less-hot version of it's prior self. Then the Solaris came along and began work to rebuild Venus as it was under the Orokin by restoring the old terraforming machines that brought the coolant up from beneath the crust of the planet.

Exactly how long ago that was is unknown, but even if it was fairly recently, relatively speaking, life can be pretty tenacious, and there's probably a reason or two we'll learn about in the process of exploring Fortuna etc. As for me, I'm most interested in learning how the hell the Corpus jiggered Sentient tech into their weapons.

Save the riven. Running Terry until you get enough cores for Quills R2 isn't too terrible. You can easily get 2-3 a night even with just randos. If you're still using the Mote amp, bring duration Trinity and just babysit lures in between helping to chip down the shields and syndona's. That'll be enough to not be a leeching shitter and after 3 or 4 nights of doing this you should have more than enough cores to trade in to get to rank 2. Then you can build a T2 amp and your potato damage will go way up. You'll need about 60 Cetus Wisps for a full 2/2/2 amp setup, but you can opt for 2/1/1 or 1/2/1 and knock that number down to 50 total.

Dunno, it's the shit version of the amprex so I have very little experience with it. It has a ridiculous base crit and a 5 dispo so unless there's some strange reason why it wouldn't work, I'd say crit chance is a must-have on a riven for it. It's probably the standard CC/CD/negative build. I forget if multishot ever stopped being broken for beam weapons (maybe it's just broken re procs) but look into that before chasing MS.

HOWEVER

Here's the thing about kuva: kuva is for converting into plat, and plat is for obtaining your ideal riven. The cost to roll is the same no matter what the weapon, but the potential winnings differ dramatically. Looking over riven.market, even great rolls for that thing aren't moving for 3000 so imo it's a bad weapon to dump your kuva into. I'd just sell it as an unrolled unless the stats are already good.

Crit chance, crit damage, damage, grineer damage. Synapse is a crit weapon, crit weapons need headshots to perform at their best, grineers are the easiest faction to reliably land headshots on. I have a 200% crit dmg/60% grineer dmg Synapse riven and I cut through sortie/arbitration level grineers like a hot knife through butter. If I use it on Chroma, I don't even need to bother with headshots; if I use it on Harrow, I make sniper riffles look bad.

I've never ground axi as they end up being really common in late game stuff. You could grind harrow systems on Yursa rather than Caracol so when you get bent over and fucked repeatedly you end up with axi relics. These are DE's official drop tables:

Also remember that plains bounties have relics in rotation that can make it easier to focus-grind something (when the relic you want is in the bounty, just run it repeatedly), and you probably still need Ostron rep at this point so win-win.

Strictly speaking the best in time-per-relic tends to be Xini interception on Eris. Rotations B and C are both 100% chances for Axi relics, and if you can get a group with a good speedva and aoe damage frames then you can keep the place on lockdown and quickly slam through all four rotations in less than than it would take to do a defense or survival.

After Xini comes Hieracon, a dark sector excavation on Pluto. It's not quite as good in terms of reliability, but a solid team can easily run two or three excavators at a time and really crank through the rotations. Hydron on Sedna is also a solid choice, as the A rotations tend to reward Neo's while the B and C have good chances for Axi's. The bonus of Hydron is that many people will use it to level weapons and frames so you'll often see randoms there in public games. The downside is many will leave after wave 10, but you can mitigate that by bringing a solid aoe clearing frame and just tough out the last 10 waves solo.

I've not gone exploring much, just grinding the bounties as fast as possible. As I started early I should hit rank 2 today and have all the tools. It seems to have more clutter but it's uninteresting clutter. Just nicer graphics on the same bounty+cave system PoE had.

Fortuna impressions: The area is 99% white or dark grey. The enemies are too. It's even more visually monotone than the dolan plains. Enemies are well camouflaged and it doesn't help that they like to stay back and fire from long range, making close range weapons close to useless. Since most of the time you're defending a point, you can't really rush around to them.

In the shitty questline you do to get started, there is a point where you wait for something to hack as you defend it. You can kill certain enemies that drop pickups that speed the timer up, which I hoped they would add to the rest of these boring missions where you just wait for things. Unfortunately that only happens in those specific "wait for this cell to be hacked" missions.

Fortuna runs like shit with several people. It got worse over time until they all dropped and I had to finish the bounty myself, with 20 FPS or something like that.

Went with the Zenistar, the disk works with Vex Armor. Was getting 15k crits with it. Per tick.

Garuda requires a decent chunk of mats from Fortuna to craft. The bounties are mostly ok. The one that sends you in the underground facility is a pain in the ass to get out of if it's the last bounty, so place a market at the entrance to find your way out. The ones where you have to capture crates is annoying if your squad is retarded. Doing the bonus objectives gives you double the rewards, including standing. Overall I recommend long range hitscan weapons, best bet would be something that can kill the normal corpus units and something to kill the absurd number of heavily armored dropships flying around. Don't even bother with melee or close range stuff. Mobs die spread all over the place and there isn't any ammo station, be careful with ammo inefficient weapons. You can trade credits/starchart resources at the debt guy and turn that in for standing. Spent like 300k credits and got well over 15k worth of standing out of it.

You get shot from each and every angle from the enemies that spawn from thin air, so you have to play supertanked frames, or frames that can create their own cover, or else you get assblasted from offscreen in 30 seconds even doing the level 20-40 bounties. To play devil's advocate, it was THAT game for a long fucking time. I played when the Stamina bar was a thing and besides the grineer mines, all we had were grinneer ships and Corpus Ships (you can count infected grineer ships as another map type, but there weren't even infected corpus ships).

If the game stayed just that it would have died a few years ago.

So in their defense, atleast they keep adding new stuff for the older players to do.
