Why shill a free game?

It makes me depressed that good games like ASRD and Monaco only see a big player count during release, only for it to steadily drop to just a few hundred after a couple months whereas cancerous shit like Fortnite enjoy popularity for years.

There are so many good multiplayer games that are dead and could use a revival. Too bad the majority of gamers are casual NPCs who won't touch a good game like Aliens vs Predator 2, Formicide or SubSpace Continuum. But will gladly suck yearly Cawwadoody cock because they have shit taste.

I played it when it came out. It was pretty well known since there wasn't that many free games on steam yet.

You know recommending a game just because journos marketed it and then turn around and call someone an NPC isn't a very strong case.

Even though the game left such a non impression I do remember a little bit about the actual game itself. Simple graphics that barely convey what anything is, stealth that has barely any consequences for being caught and no real advantages for playing with friends.

False. Did you even beat the game? Try triggering the alarm in any of the latter levels and you'll get annihilated.

False. Again, did you even fucking play the game? Entire levels are designed around the idea of a crew helping each other out (hacker turns off security, cleaner whacks guard, locksmith opens safe, etc). It's possible to beat all levels solo but it's very difficult and you'll most likely die.

Seeing how wrong you are, I doubt you've even played it beyond the fucking tutorial levels.

Bullshit. Why the fuck do I have to slog though an unchallenging first 90% of a game just to get to the good levels. Every game I just listed starts good, and only get's better later. If you want a good coop stealth game then play Chaos Theory. If you want a multiplayer pacman game then play Pacman museum's multiplayer mode. I don't know what to tell you. Me and my friends played the first couple of levels and didn't have fun. You're right, I even said as much.

Is it strange to think that if the game starts off shit, it will continue to be shit? This is supposed to be a multiplayer game right? Do you expect other people to wait for it to get good?

If you have 4 people either on your couch, on lan, or over the internet do you think they want to play an hour long tutorial (or however long the levels stop being "tutorial levels" again I wouldn't know) before they start having fun. Again, every single game that I mentioned on that list starts good.

I actually didn't even notice the dps cap or damage scaling. I think the reason why I like it is because item drops don't make or break a run. You can still get by in EtG with Crappy items and even the best items won't turn the game into EZ mode. For me playing issac was just a slot machine.

I think they have alleviated the shit droprates quite a bit, like how keys pop up more often and chests have better quality overall since the advanced update rolled in, bringing in other goodies too.

Anakin wasn't a master, the other two (Obi-wan and Mace Windu) were. He wanted to become a master because only Jedi masters were allowed to access the Sith holocrons, which he was led to believe by Palpatine had information on how to cheat death (and thus save Padme). Essentially all of Isaacs problems ironically come from rebirth. Aside from, well, performance issues with cramming all that shit into flash Plus the DLC for Rebirth was so unfathomably insulting. They axed half the DLC to ship a year later, the final boss ripped off from a late game undertale enemy. They locked unlocks off from the "first" (really the first half) DLC behind some guy digging up a Penny they drew on in minnesota because edmund got shitter hurt about people not spending 5 years trying to unlock the lost. There were NO EXCLUSIVE NEW ROOMS to the new "chapters" only chapter specific gimmicks which amount to randomly replacing a rock or pit with Spikes, a Fire, a pit, or a Boil-Stone. Because they shipped the update unfinished and early they accidentally left in the original design for the Final final boss of the new chapter and tried to get away with it by calling it a red herring. The code for it actually points this out because if delirium is forced to transform into it, delirium transforms into hush but with different patterns. And to top it all off, the last BIG HOORAH floor that they added to the game they couldn't be fucked to make new assets for and they forgot to make it so ALL CHESTS drop items. Oh, and then they paid the Antibirth devs so they could release it as DLC, and Tried to get the music guy to give all the rights to the music to them, for free. to which he essentially responded to by telling them to fuck off and he was going to make two mods that let you use his soundtrack in JUST afterbirth+ and repentance for free

They also went out of their way to update base rebirth so that mods to make items that are only in rebirth but only have synergies in Afterbirth/+ don't work
