Videos have something called framerate, the number of pictures "drawn" per second.

For a video that's, say, just images with text, you could fuck the framerate to hell and back, considerably decreasing the end size and still having it readable.

It has no direct ties to the audio, so you can slow a video down to 1fps and still have the audio stay as normal. In fact, you could have a video that's literally just a picture and audio with only a single frame.

Besides, I'm not saying it was the end of the world, it just looked a little odd which is why I preferred to sacrifice a bit more bitrate for a few extra frames.

Videos have, for the most part, four big parts that they can sacrifice. audio quality, video quality, video size and framerate.

If you want your information readable you probably will want to keep the size as big as possible, and if it's smooth you'll want a decent framerate.

Still, you can cut down size a bit if needed, framerate going from the default 24 to 20 (almost 10% less) or even something like 15, depending on the video, will cut down size and still leave you with a decent video, then you can cut down on bitrate and, depending, make two files instead of one.

It's not as much of a case of "you can't" as it's a case of "I'm a lazy nigger and I don't want to".

Again, 99% of the videos are shit that can be easily made into a single seemingly high quality webm. Most of the rare few that don't can fit into 3 files max, keeping the quality, framerate and size.
