feels frustrating arguing with people all the time about shit that matters only towards some smallish groups of people on the internet; everyone seems to want to be willing sheep or not care enough. The fact that there are actual censorship apologists who unironically believe that censorship is the only way for japanese games to gain more appeal disgusts me.
Not trying to be blackpilling, I guess i'm sort of blogposting. Seeing this kind of censorship and people defending it is getting to me. Seeing the market be so shit and trash also disgusts me. What happened to the fucking gains we were making? Moreover, how are we even going to hit Sony with damage? This will hurt Senran and Xseed far more than it will hurt Soyny because its a 3rd party game that they don't get much out of (excluding (((PSN))) copies, but still that can't be that much), but its Xseed's primary platform. People need to buy approximately 2-4 (or more) times more than they normally would of a Senran game on (((Steam))) if not more to offset some of the costs that Xseed would take from this just to not suffer as much and considering Steam users usually wait till the first big sales instead of release date… things don't look good.

At those ages that would more have to do with the responsibility of parents than anything else. The ESRB would have much more power as well. It is. Kind of. And that is the problem.
Free speech is a concept that has centuries of philosophy behind it. The US is one of the strongest bastions for freedom of speech. However, there are still limits, like defamation or calls to violence. But gab won't ban the different nationalistic, or explicitly christian posting that is considered hate speech in places like the UK or Germany.
There is a reason why loli posting is a test of freedom of speech, because it tests the line of just what obscenity/offensive laws are in place. Gab being in the state of PA, instead of CA, does have other laws to worry about.
