So I've been looking for something to scratch my Def Jam itch since there really hasn't been a good game like it since Fight for NY. So I was looking into Wrastling games and apparently all of them have been complete shit other than 2K19 which is getting some decent feedback online. That said I don't really trust youtube since it's known to be filled with shills and reddit. So I was wondering what you guys thought about 2K19 mainly since I wanna make a million dollars by beating this mode and then making a wrestling video, but also because I wanna play a game like Fight for NY.

honestly for me the 2k series tries to be far too realistic and almost sim-like, looks great but plays like shit and most matches are so repetitive and boring, you're honestly better sticking to something more arcade like HctP or even def jam ffny itself.
i've never played a fighting/wrestling game as fun as ffny though.
saying all that if you're a fan of modern wrestling you might enjoy the 2k series but it's not for me

If you can get past the first two retarded hurdles (honestly the video one is just stupid, its a prime way to weed out anyone that doesnt look cool enough) then it will come down to skill. If you get to play against AJ chances are you are going to wreck his shit. IT wouldnt be hard. Dude probably has enough concussions to make him forget what the icecream truck sounds like so being able to beat him at a video game that he probably never plays is easy.
But seriously, the japanese just come out with wrestling games that you literally can do almost anything in. Why would you play anything else? Fire Pro Wrestling is legit to say the least.
