Maya and Wright have to be Shelly DeKiller's true identity. It all makes sense when you think about it. Any murder she fails to escape from, she has her fucktoy Wright defend her. That's why we heard her over DeKiller's radio in the Engarde Trial back in March, why there was this dog and pony show about her being """"""kidnapped"""""". Why Wright, who otherwise is jewish as fuck about getting Not Guilty verdicts, suddenly threw his client under the bus and claimed he was responsible for all this. Matt Engarde was made into a fall-guy to make sure nobody realized this fucking corrupt lawyer and his underage cultist are collectively the most feared assassin in the world.

Don't believe me? Take this into consideration: Wright first met Mia Fey when Mia defended him and got Wright's girlfriend arrested for murder in his place. Then, after joining her law office, she's suddenly murdered by (((Maya))) and the two of them get everything Mia owned.

I just finished playing Apollo Justice and it's just so awful in comparison to the Phoenix Wright Trilogy. It pisses me off. None of the cases have any sort of logic to them, like the heart surgeon who can't take a fucking pulse in case 2, the whole scheme to follow the lyrics in case 3 which doesn't need to happen in the first place, and the stupid motive in case 4. Even the twist is just awful because it literally has no relation to the event. I don't want to bother with DD or SoJ now. AAO tomorrow?

Yeah, Apollo Justice is by far the worst. Really, only the opening case was good. DD has a lot of problems with excessive handholding, but it's a step in the right direction. For one thing the characters are a lot more enjoyable and far less annoying than in AJ. SoJ is one of the series greats and gives you the option to tone down the handholding if you want.

But the best game to play after AJ is probably the two Edgeworth spin-offs. They do things differently enough for it to feel like a breath of fresh air after AJ. The sequel in particular has some of the best cases in the franchise and is my favorite game in the series.

The trial happened today, but weirdly enough Wright didn't decide to camwhore. But you gotta listen to this. The prosecutor was some mask wearing fuck who says he never lost a trial BECAUSE HE'S NEVER PROSECUTED ONE BEFORE NOW. He didn't even have an opening statement, he just kept spouting proverbs at Wright (Kept calling him Trite too) and drinking coffee. I think we've finally found someone more incompetent than Wright.

Anyway, Wright pulled this bullshit story about how the fuccboi isn't Mask☆Demasque, accused the detective, badgered him until he broke, and claimed his client had an alibi because he was at KB Security a half-hour away because of a blackmail note I'm sure was forged. Verdict was Not Guilty.

God I hate Wright.

I've never felt this angry in a long time. For those who have missed it because Wright didn't stream, probably decided he didn't want to embarrass himself on the internet again here's a gist on how the trial went:

>he was officially in KB SECURITY at the time of the murder

>claims "I got attacked by a mysterious assailant"

>said "mysterious assailant" activated an alarm

>hid the fucking body in a safe and expects people to believe he isn't a killer

>the appointed security officer to intervene wasn't here for SOME REASON (did some digging when Wright mentioned he was a loser who got punched in the face by an ex girlfriend. IT WAS LARRY FUCKING BUTZ)

>Wright is babbling as usual

>suddenly he goes out and voluntarily interrupts ANOTHER TRIAL CURRENTLY IN PROGRESS to bring back Luke Atmey/MaskDeMasque, cucking based Payne out of yet another victory
