The amount of bullshit the average consumer will let the games industry get away with is very depressing and demoralizing. They buy the DLC, they pre-order before knowing how good or bad the game will be, they defend microtransactions, they will cheer when the publishers, developers, or journalists shits on them. And these same people will unironically parrot how you're entitled, develop loyalty to brands and franchises, and will whiteknight companies left and right just for that new game that will likely be worse then the last one. Folks who don't do this, those who try to tell others to be more aware or pirate/buy games used are in the vast minority.
