Millenials are a unique generation in recent history, and this had some side-effects that most weren't expecting.

That is, they were just old enough to be overwhelmed by the explosion of technology, and information era we entered. In addition to the parents being I'll prepared to control for that variable (no norms established, it was pure chaos for parents, the first generation of parents to deal with a complete paradigm shift I to the information era).

This, as with most resounding events, will take some to be adjusted for in society.

There are different controller factors for population growth in nature actually.

There's been research that points to gays being nature's population control mechanism.

If society let's gays fulfill their role, and not procreate (as before they would marry, have kids, and not fulfill their role of being genetic dead ends) then its helpful to society (of course while keeping them away from children due to that statistic everyone knows about).
