So, what games shall be on it? Since there will be none with Analog, and in my opinion no licensed titles such as Tony Hawk, what will they have on it? Will there be M rated games? And will a specific game having high mainstream success at the time of it's original release warrant it being on the Classic, versus a better later installments in a series, or better obscure games? Or what about games that have a more famous sequel? For example I think Blood Omen should be on the Classic, but I feel like Soul Reaver is far more commercial and well known, even if it has a terrible cliff hanger ending and terrible sequels that don't resolve anything until the final game. Though I'm not sure if it would get on, because I believe that game could be played with Analog.

Mostly likely no, especially if it couldn't even get a PSN rerelease prior. With Earthbound, Nintendo at least owned the rights to it, making it easier to include. With them only having twenty games on the damn thing, most likely they'll either be no-additional-licensing Sony owned picks (like Wild Arms) and popular-with-mainstream third party, and covering a smattering of genres. And regardless of what they put on, there's going to be some anger from people if they can't manage all three Spyro and Crash games because that would take up 3/10 the entire roster on its own (though I could see something like CTR getting a pass due to being a cart racer and not a platformer). If the idea is to introduce no people to the library, of course they're not apt to spring for the stuff that didn't sell well, and while some might say these things are also retro-hipster bait, there's a variance in gravity between fags that just like stuff that's old, and ones that aim for stuff because it's rare. I'm sure the former are more numerous.
And with Tales, for some reason none of the PS1 era games are on the PSN, be it here in NA or in Japan (PAL of course not having gotten them anyhow). Though in the case of the latter, Japan has better versions of Phantasia and Destiny on the PSP and PS2 respectively. Beyond that, assuming they're aiming to release this emubox in PAL as well, considering the PS3-era PSN store (also Nintendo's VC) wasn't utilized to give PAL official releases of games they'd missed the first time around, chances are they're going to go for a "one roster fits all regions" thing, which would lock out the likes of Chrono Cross, Xenogears, Wild Arms 2, Tales of Eternia PS1, etc. Which is a shame, because not only should the harder to find, more expensive games have been considered for a PSN rerelease (and credit where it's due, some companies like Capcom, Konami, and Atlus made some effort), but I'd think giving NA a native Terranigma, or PAL the above games, would have been easy money for those involved.

Square-Enix, and least the western branch, seems to have a hatred towards rereleasing games/series Enix published for, and even the PSP ports/remakes of the Star Ocean 1 and 2 and Valkyrie Profile are physical-only as if to lock their relevance to that frame of time (IE: can't officially be played on the Vita, at least here). And even the PS4 "remaster" of Star Ocean: Second Evolution is Japan only.
Beyond that, there's a problem in general in how a roster of only just Square titles might be picked:

I wouldn't say inaccurate, since most people are going to have shitty monitors and those are definitely shitty monitors. My u2414h isn't as bad as any of those, but there's still subtle backlight bleeding and the blacks aren't actually black. Really the only thing LCD monitors are better for is small text readability, everything else is worse. OLED tech is interesting, but at this point they're essentially disposable since no one can agree on how to properly fix the disparate diode lifespan and burn-in issues.

While some games did range into lower-than-max PS1 sizes (mostly certain sprited ones from what I've seen), most were bigger than PS1, and could get all the way up to 7.5GB or so at worst and needing to use DVD-9 format to fit at worst. If such a thing was made, I couldn't see it having that many games bundled on it, or if it did have twenty or so, would probably be fairly expensive, between how much Sony or whoever they get the licenses for stuff for want to ask per game (PS4 PSN seems to charge a good $15 each or so average; a few outliers at $10 and some at $20+, many of which buying an actual copy of, even complete and in good condition, would be cheaper), as well as how cheap Sony might be on the storage capacity. Also a similar factor that if intended as a "sampler" a roster for such would likely just be some of the most popular games on the system and/or ones Sony wouldn't have to pay extra licensing on, as opposed to games that could actually benefit from a rerelease. I'd rather they just print off some new fats (with design flaws fixed, like the apparent laser issue, as well as avoiding incompatibilities) considering the PS4 doesn't have any physical backwards compatibility with PS1 or PS2, but they'd probably just go the slim route for no loading, and that's if they even want the consumer to care about ability to play older media they still own/can buy aftermarket/pirate for. I know there's plenty of PS2s and especially PS1s still around for that matter, but eventually it's apt to reach a point where it gets hard to find one that works.
