Not a faggot for once, OP. Commendable.
Couldn't get this track to fit within posting limits with any sort of image but a solid black.

We should get the ability to post .mp3 and other kind of audio files, even if it doesn't have it's own browser player. Even fucking obscure image boards like KohlChan have this feature, codemonkey could add this feature if he wanted to.

I don't mind having images as a background (even if it takes a long time to find a size that fits the posting limits and still looks somewhat good visually), but some songs I like are just too fucking long to do anything but a black square for, and I really prefer leaving those for "guess the music" threads. Native Mp3/flac embedding would certainly be preferable in such cases.

Also .mp4s have shitty mp3-tier audio. Would be nice to be able to use .flac or other types of audio compressing algorythms.

I wish they'd have brought Naruke back for more remix work. Think she only got to do two songs in Brawl (Bramble Blast and Ocarina of Time Medley), and none since. But I could be wrong.

The very least there's webm support on the site. Not that it helps me much, the program I'm having to use to make stuff like this can't output as webm. But again, direct audio embedding would be nice.

They shouldn't have tried to monetize shit and get jewgle all over their ass for their effort.

all I remember in terms of ads was them recently putting up a tiny bit of text in the top right occasionally about Nord VPN; that's what made Google shoah them?

Series on the whole really, even the ones without Naruke having worked on them much.

Far as I've heard, its the factor that they were using videos from jewgle's service to drive traffic to the site, and then getting ad revenue while people were there. Combined with denying the actual videos hits (at the time), I'd suppose it falls under some ground of profiting off someone else's work. Thus jewgle got on them about it and the guys naturally cucked, leaving their site without the big reason people were going there in the first place now.

I figure this doesn't deserve it's own thread so I'll ask here.
Why is (was) MMO music so fucking good?
Even if you're a "MMOs were never good" fag you have to admit that they've got some of the catchiest music in the industry. Every starting town in a half decent MMO is iconic. Maybe it's because MMOs are all about drawing in a large playerbase with a unique aesthetic. Maybe it's because if you want your players to grind for 3000 hours they better have some damn good tunes.
Some examples off the top of my head
>Ragnarok Online
>Runescape
bonus points for getting the most out of MIDIs
>Maplestory
>Mabinogi
almost every NPC has their own theme. What other game can you even name where you actually care about who the weapon shop NPC in a certain town is?
>Dungeon Fighter Online
at least the stuff before 2010 or so where the hard rock is replaced with orchestral tripe

Probably because that's where most of the rising talent went when the industry started booming.
