This is true.

On another note, I strongly suggest watching Mike Kob. This guy has done anything and everything possible in Godhand. Namely, KMS Level Die but has broken the game on several occasions.

Breakdown for the Xbox is basically first person God Hand. It takes time to get to the martial arts, but it's worth it.

I recomend the Kenka Banchou series. Not as smooth, but it has the idea of unlocking extra attack options and executes it quite well. Has pretty nifty style too. Only third game and a shitty otome spinoff was ever translated (why aren't you learning Nipponese?) but the third game is pretty nifty.

Beware that 3 likes to crash on PSP CFW due to being an early PSP release from when the CPU was underclocked. CFW automaticly sets all games to full clock speed, but this one likes to crash if you don't disable that. PPSSPP will play it fine if you get the latest SVN though.

None of these are remotely similar to God Hand.

Those are all DMC style slash-em-ups with free camera and air combos, GH is entirely ground based with tank-controls and camera.
