So it is better to absorb as much tutorials/pdfs/knowledge as possible even if it could have better explanation? So far I finished 1 pdf completely, reading a few more pdf files and some few online ones so far I looked only for beginners stuff though I wonder if I should start looking for intermediate stuff instead for dealing more complex problems.

Like as in writing your own game engine? Well it is a possibility too but then you are spending more time refining the engine to work in a way it should do instead of just making progress on the game itself. I don't mean it is a bad thing and is actually a useful skill since the programmers needs to more concerned how the code will work and such, for example the Doom 1 and Build engines are pretty efficient at what they are doing and works in potato machines unlike compared to Unity and UE 4 were the developers are much more concerned about using expensive computer just to render a certain graphical features more fancier instead of having a engine that optimally uses the computer processing power.

Well, I don't mean you should make your own engine for your games, but that IS a very good way to learn how to do things. Basically what I mean is try to find some framework that helps you do basic things like drawing images onto the screen and stuff, and then experiment making simple games using that. I think Love2D is like that, and HTML5/Javascript games too.

The idea is to get away from big engine's overly complicated systems so you can learn to think of your problems and what kind of solution you need for it. If you just jump straight into Unity you'll probably get a very warped view of how it works, like thinking that all the "entities" are just mysterious objects that can be added and removed somehow, and the game world is a space that you can put them in, and various things can be done/added to the entity thingy. Learning things properly will give you a more coherent view of what an entity actually might be, and that the game world is some kind of data structure with methods to it rather than some mysterious "place".

The reason it's useful is because you'll learn to build things on your own and interact with the engine as a tool, rather than looking for a way to make the engine do it for you and being bound by your view of the engine.
